One Minute & One Degree

snow shovelaGuess we can put these away for awhile.

These shovels have been on our back porch since the December 2010 storm and a few smaller snowfalls afterwards.

This week, temps climbed into the 70s.

When we went for a late afternoon walk, yesterday they had dropped a bit.

This was the time and temperature at the bank we use.

A minute later, the bank next door showed these results.

One minute and one degree of separation?

I wish we had Your temperature at the moment, but we have only 3,8F at the moment.

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Beatrice...Here right until the end of March if you put your shovel away it will surely snow!!
If our temperatures went up to 70 for a couple of days we probably would have a flood with all the melting snow!! lol
It did get to 50 yesterday and things where melting, but that was short lived!!

Much warmer there than here. We had minus 15 this morning, and still tons of snow here.

I would wait on that... Gonna snow Tuesday!
Wait and see! Be little possum toe prints on your patio trotting thru the snow!
You been listening to those muskrats again?
Don't you know, Muskrats lie?

It didn't get quite that warm here, but we had a nice day yesterday. We're supposed to get freezing rain and/or snow tonight and tomorrow though. :/

I will leave my shovels out until my calender says spring.

Lois, I know you hope so, returning to Ohio.
Christer, maybe we can package and mail warmth?
Grammie G. the shovels are not that far away.
Mona, I think you will have snow until summer.
Possum, tsk, tsk you know how changeable the weather can be on the eastern shore. WHAT - muskrats lie!
Daisy, please keep it there.
Steve, our clanedar already says spring cause we wrote it in.

We won't see signs of spring until April so the snow shovels and scoops stay out on the deck, and the snow blower stays on the tractor, along with the walk-behind snow blower in the garage. We had about four more inches of snow yesterday and Marty had the tractor out. If he doesn't use the blower on the deck I guess I'll have to do some shoveling so I can refill the bird feeders.

Every degree counts. I would definitely use your bank, at least at this time of year.

Elaine, you mean you will see spring after all that snow and cold temps?

Me too, SouthernSass, but cooler today.

Tis true, Sandra and doing this blog has made it worse, says Grenville (with a smile).

Agreed, AC.
