Soooo as we left Norcross we plugged in the address for the Tiger Direct Outlet store. Now for those of you who may not be familiar with Tiger Direct, they are a technology company that has been selling over stocks, discontinued models, refurbished and remanufactured electronics equipment including computers, components, cameras, TV's, home theatre units and lots of other related stuff on line for over 30 years.
In typical IKEA fashion we were drawn to TD like moths to a flame. The car and GPS (Mandy) became one and took complete control. On arrival we found out that this facility is the shipping department for the east coast, and they only recently opened the outlet store. It was not as big as we expected but had an awful lot of toys.
The prices here were just as good as on line, BUT you get to pay GA. sales tax. Beatrice drooled over notebooks while i perused (in total confusion) the GPS’s. In the end we only bought registry cleaning software and usb powered speakers since my netbook speakers are really bad. BUT if you are traveling on I-85 and happen to be passing Jefferson it is worth a stop.

Wow - I guess I've never heard of Tiger Direct. It looks like quite a place for good bargains!
Hi Folks...It is probably a good thing you didn't buy much ...you need to save some money so won't have to stay in those discount rate places. LOL : }
We don´t have anything similar here where I live, at the edge of the world :-) But I think they have something like that in the bigger cities. So I totally depend on my older brother that lives close to my old home town :-)

You got out alive, and that is what counts. In a previous post you said you spent two hours there, so something must have captured your attention, or the line for restrooms was long.
I like going tothese palces, it is hard to really see what you get online.I like the IKEA stores also, itis hard for me toget out. I redid my last place, even lighting from there.Those who I took along on the many trips don't care to go with me again.Hey it takes a few laps to make up ones mind.HA!
