A few funnies with these 2 lawn figurines . . .
Boys will be boys
Mine can go further
Pissed off
Any Others?
These were taken in the fall in a front yard along Main St. The “boys” were taken down last week before the arrival of Hurricane Irene.
FYI, the “fountains” haven’t worked in months.

When certain fountains get older, they don't work quite so well.
Reminds me of the one in the movie "The Money Pit".
We had a fountain but now gone and covered over but I still have the boy holding the fish, water came out of the fish's mouth.
HAHA! I love Anvilcloud's addition too! :-)
Good observation, AC.
Oh what a fuss these little boys caused when they were first put up. Some folks even started a petition to have the "obsenities" removed as this was a Christian town!
LOL!
this brings back a not so fond memory, when my son daniel, now 44 was 5, i got a call to come for teacher conference. she said for some reason, daniel was in the rest room in a stall and he peed on the shoes of the boy in the next stall. after we got home, i said daniel WHY did you do it. he said i saw his shoes and thought it would be fun..
I have seen and photographed the original of this in Brussels, Belgium. Information is here:

HaHa...Cute fountain.
Problems with that in such an early age :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
Too funny, especially that there was a fuss about them when they were put up. Oh, the joys of living in a small town.
Don't see those around to much anymore. Surprised since the world is so much more tolerant now.
We have a Japanese restaurant here and it seats about 12 around the hot cooking table. After the food is cooked and presented to the customers the chef takes out a rubber bottle in the shape of a young boy and makes a big show of squeezing the water out to clean the cooking surface. You can imagine where the water comes out from and the children just love it !!
Thanks for the comments, especially the wry comments offfered by AC and Christer.
Sandra, funny story about your son. Ginnie, easy to see "why" that Japanese restaurant is popular.
Lois, thanks for the link. I checked it out as well as all the stories - all very interesting.
You have me chuckling with this one.........reminds me of the movie The Money Pit. Blessings,Kathleen
