The Delaware Memorial Bridge links Delaware and New Jersey from New Castle, DE to Pennsville, NJ in twin suspension spans that soar above the Delaware River.
It’s easy to know you have arrived in NJ side, because there’s lots of signs telling motorists where to go.
Luckily, we already knew our destination.

And how are you suppose to keep your eye on the road and read all those signs at the same time? We were there some years ago but thankful we had a driver.
HaHa...There's always someone around to tell us "where to go" isn't there??
just pick a lane, any lane... wow
That would be rather mind boggling for a tourist! Good thong you knew where you were going!
That looks worse than Houston...and I didn't think that was even possible!
Could be confusing to a first timer!
It sure is hard to miss that one enteres New Jersey :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
Just seeing all of those signs just about puts me into panic mode.
wow a lot of signs, how stressful if you're new to the road
I remember NJ from when I worked at the bank and heading there for mergers & acquisitions. Was it NJ that has "jughandles"?...:)JP
Goodness, way too much information! That looks like a good place for us to avoid when we're on our roadtrip next month. As the designated navigator, I can feel my head spinning just looking at your photo!
Oh I would be so stressed, so many lanes and keeping your eyes on everything. Would love to go there though..Hope you had a nice weekend..Susie
Wow, people could be sooooo confuuuused!
Oh goodness, I hate driving in busy areas like that.
Love the black and whites!! Have a fun trip!! (the older I get, the less I like driving in the city!)
Tammy & Cicero, this is the same route we always take to return to NJ, so thankfully we know which way to go.
Mona, you got that right!
Sandra, we just go straight.
HermitJim, Houston has NJ beat.
Christer, no mistaking NJ entry.
AC, sometimes we panic too!
Carole, we're used to these.
JP. yup NJ has juglandles.
Elaine, avoid NJ if you can!
Grace, thanks, we're back and saw several good friends on this trip.
Lois & Daisy, it can be very hectic but less so on weekends and non-holiday times.
Susie, welcome again, you might be among the few who to want to go to NJ.
I have driven in Atlanta Ga. and I am often amaized at the highway sign clutter. You realy have to pay attention if you are from out of town.
