This apple is the one you can eat and it was celebrated at the 4th Annual Apple Fest which benefits The Salvation Army of Nashua.
Sullivan Farm is not just the only operating apple orchard located in Nashua, NH, its also Nashua’s last remaining farm. Next year Sullivan Farm marks its 100th anniversary.
This celebration was not just about apples, but a fall celebration that included pony rides, hay rides, train rides, pumpkin painting, face painting, scarecrow making, emergency vehicle demonstrations, live musical entertainment.
Sometimes, children was as colorful as the painted pumpkins.
Scarecrow making was a family event.
There were hayrides, cow train rides and pony rides. Grenville heard there were train rides too.
But this train was a little smaller than he expected.
This was a fun outing on a very warm fall day with temperatures in the high 80s. More of the same weather is expected for Monday on yet another adventure.

A great day on the farm and such delicious apples as well!
you are really really having a great time and so many beautiful things to photograph
Did you take notes for next year's Autumn in Onley?
Looks like fun!
It was like looking through a catalog of autumn :O)
What fun! I'd love some hot apple crisp right now with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Those apples look so good! :D
Looks fun! Wayne County in NY is a big apple producer and we stopped at a couple of places and got to taste some of their apples. We bought some Autumn Crisp apples for snack time while we're traveling. Very good!
Hi Everyone, this was definitely a fun family event as we saw lots of children who brought their parents along.
We "sampled" a couple of apples while walking through part of the orchards.
Possum, we did get some ideas such as having an admission table where you bought tickets that could be redeemed for both food and events.
