Seeing Red

Here’s something that that you can try just by walking around your yard, home, neighborhood – anywhere .

Pick a color – any color – and really see how many things you can find that are that color OR have that color in them. It can be a bit of a challenge.

Yesterday, my color of choice was RED. Walking outside at The Frog & PenguINN, and here's what here’s what I saw . . .RED collage 012011
Try your own color choice challenge. It’s a fun way to get out and walk around. Go ahead and post you own color finds. Since some fellow bloggers are in the midst of cold and wintry weather, WHITE might be a good choice.

And, here’s something else that’s RED and which we will be playing soon with friends M&B at our next game night. (And it was under $1 at a thrift store.)SAM_0571

What a fun idea. Have you ever tried "The Brenda Photo Challenge"? It is a monthly theme photo essay.Love trivia, I have a hard time getting players. I have a couple games and like to use the different sets of cards to give people a choice.

Everything is white here now and all houses are red, so I think I´ll skip those colors :-) :-) :-)

But I´ll try this tomorrow :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Cute idea for a post. Today we are seeing more rain here in Mt. Vernon, WA. I think it will be a good day for shopping. I have been having a hard time finding clothing suitable for a "mature" woman who doesn't care to wear the snug reveal-every-defect clothes that are the in thing right now.

Hi everyone, glad you all liked this color "challenge" and if you want to try something similar, just let us know where to see yours. Forgot to mention that Onley is pronnounced as "only."

Yup, got it, Marty. Some might think my imagination is a bit crazy, at times.

Hi Steve, never heard of the "Brenda Photo Challenge" is it an online blog? Hey if you ever come this way, we could play some Trivial Pursuit...maybe an online game where folks post a question on their blogs? Whadya think?

Thanks Carole for the visit and liking the idea. Not sure of the next color, yet.

Mona & ELaine (Country Girl) I think that WHITE would be a great choice and Grammie G you sure have more than enough to choice from in Maine!

Hi Christer, it will be fun to see what color you select and as whites and reds are out, maybe browns?

Thanks Elaine, been enjoying your travel posts too. Maybe weather would be another good topic? And, I do know what you mean about some of those clothes!
