Last week, I started what may become a regular feature until I run out of things in the same color or find something more interesting, both of which are possible. The first color was RED. And, here’s the next one – YELLOW with things found in the kitchen . . .
Seen around the yard . . .
Things seen on a walk . . .
and in a local store . . .
My favorite yellow things – birds and flowers . . .
What are your favorites in YELLOW ?

Clever - I'll have to work on that one.
Love all the yellow! Makes me think of warmer times!
There's some wonderful yellows there! I came here because I saw you comment that you saw the Choclolate Moose at Len Libby's. That is about 10 minutes from my house! I live in Saco, Maine. I just wanted to say hello!
What a large variety of yellow. I really like the sunflowers and the yellow color they project.
Gotta say that I like yellow best when it's some kind of flower.
Interesting...yellow is one color that I like but have very little of in my house. It's considered the most difficult paint color to get right because different times of day affect the hue.
That being said, the only thing I could find that was a "true" yellow was the rim of a ceramic bowl !!!
The sunflower is perfect and so glad you did yellow, it's warm and happy unlike this foggy day!! your photos are gorgeous! love,Diana
Hi Mona, you've already had yellow in some of your bird photos, for example, the bald eagle. Once you get started it's surprisingly easy.
Thanks Mama-Bug, your temps are warmer than ours now.
Hi Eva, THANKS for the visit and comments. We wanted to take Lenny home with us. Saco was one of our many stops during our month-long Maine road trip and if you check under October 2010 on our blog you will see all the places we visited including pics of Saco. We may be returning as Grenville loved Maine. Another blogger friend, Grammie G. lives in Lisbon, Maine another town we stopped in. I will visit your blog later today.
Hey Larry, we had a large crop of sunflwoers last year and I did several posts including them - GREAT subjects and so colorful, I agree.
Yes, Elaine, colorful yellow flowers are so pretty.
Ginnie, I painted our kitchen walls yellow and before the cabinets and floor went in, the color was a bit overwhelming. Our dining room is a pale yellow. I didn't even think to photograph the kitchen, duh.
Thanks Diana, what color can I use for fog? Hmmm maybe another series on weather conditions? See you at the Heritage Festival.
I would choose a yellow tulip for my favorite. I have been looking for yellow fringed variety for years.
I'm sure some colors have become memes: Ruby Tuesday comes to mind, and perhaps Mellow Yellow (or perhaps not).
Good choice, Steve.
AC, interesting analogy, never thought of that one.
