But, did you know that it's also used for home auto repairs?
Anyone ever used it for this type of repair? As for myself and Grenville, we have not yet (or possibly ever).
Thanks to everyone for the comments on yesterday’s masking up post. Your viewpoints were well taken and I enjoyed reading them. We may not all agree all the time, that’s OK as I appreciate and learn from other views.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone

Can't say I have ever been a member of the Duct Tape on the Bumper Club! Does that disqualify me from manhood?
I had a favorite shirt, and as it aged and started to fall apart I would put duct tape over the tear on the inside of the shirt. By the time my dear shirt departed this world, the whole inside was covered with duct tape. I do miss my shirt. You stay safe and have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Thankfully, its not something that we have needed to use on the car.
I have not but I see it all the time.
I see it on cars, yes. I used to negatively judge the car owner for it, until I realized, perhaps, they were down on their luck and couldn't afford to repair it just yet. Good thing it's such a handy tool!
😀
Never used it on my car, but believe it or not, I one time used some duck tape to hem my pants because I needed to wear them that night and didn't have time to hem them properly by a tailor.
LOVE the saying about the light at the end of the tunnel. LOL!
Have a superb weekend!
Believe it or not, I've used duct tape to fix my reading glasses.
Never tried it on my car........yet.
oh my goodness.......how this made me chuckle. Yes, I have known a few people who have used duck tape.......and bailing wire to fix their cars with. LOL
Not on a car, for sure. I have used duct tape on art & craft projects but I just bought some terra cotta colored duct tape to try and close up a big crack in one of my planter box on the patio so I can get buy not having to purchase new ones for another year or two (cheap plastic ones). I have lived with a man who thought duct tape could fix anything...and they look pretty ugly in most repairs--LOL! ;)
Duct tape was once a favourite way to mend things... that is until we ran out of the stuff.
No, fortunately I have never had to use duct tape for anything other than temporarily sealing a water pipe leak until the plumber arrived. I am going to read your mask post now. Sounds intriguing.
My son is using duct tale to keep his car wheel arch on, its also handy as a temporary solution to get you to a garage when the exhsust bracket drops off!
Ha! No, we have not yet done this.
It's when they start using duct tape on planes I get worried.
