
One of the things i like about older towns is the doors. We only roamed around downtown a short time today but found some unique ones.

The door in the upper left corner is actually closed but painted to look half open. Belfast harbor is on the Penobscot Bay. I was impressed with all of the classic boats ready to be hauled out for the winter.

You may notice that these are older classic sailboats minus their masts. When i worked in a boatyard we used to haul them out and then unstep the mast. Apparently these folks do it opposite.
