Special Day

Happy Anniversary to Us

Grenville & Beatrice
A wedding phototrue love (5) With love to my best friend, love and partner, Grenville.

Just in case you were wondering which number we’re celebrating today (August 21) – it’s lucky 11 – at least for the two of us.

As a special celebration, Grenville is taking me on a sea cruise, details in a future post.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love.

Thanks Mona. We feel very lucky to have found each other (saved 2 other people from our craziness).

Hi Elaine, yes it was a happy day spent on a sea cruise with details (and photos) to follow. Glad you liked the photo!

Patty, it was great having dinner with you and Larry tonight. Thanks for helping us end a nice (but very hot) day trip.

Were you roasted and toasted over there? I thought of you during the day as I cut grass and weed whacked in the heat. BUT, at least it was not in the 90s here.
Glad you survived... And a Happy Anniversity as one of my kids used to say!

Thanks Christer for the well wishes. We had a fun, but hot day, and there were lots of green head flies and mosquitoes - enough to go around!

Lois, we had a memorable celebration and will post info soon. Thanks for the well wishes!

Morning Possum, Yes it was very hot and sticky with the above-mentioned buffiness. hardly a breeze on the island all day. Definitely a one-time visit (we think). Thanks for the well wishes too!
