Some Old – Some Older Still – At the Fair
Some folks say “they don’t make cars like they used to.” Here’s some vintage autos seen at the recent Worcester County Fair.
Recognize any of these? (no quiz, just fun)
Wonder if creamsicle orange was a standard color?
Red seems more likely.
Here’s a colorful Ford with food at the window – and a tiger in the tank
Several models sported a very popular color – ORANGE.
The best way to get around was the horse and carriage and tractor.

What really cool cars! I still own my 1968 Mustang that I bought new. I can appreciate the gorgeous cars you have pictured here. :)
I'm on via special satellite connection for a few mins. I'm glad to be able to get pages to load out here.
Nice to see you!
Hugs,
Lois
You're more addicted to posting photos than I am. :)
What a wonderful car show. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed it, but I grew up when Muscle Cars were the thing. Good to see the beauties from back then and before.
You sure took a lot of terrific photos of all those vintage cars! Nice work.
Our cars today look awfully stodgy and dull compared to those.
Wow Lois, a 1968 Mustang! Do you still drive it around town. If you do, it must be a really great experience watching people watch the car.
Yes, Anvil, I think that I am and enjoy sharing them too!
Hi Scott and thanks for the visit and comments. This was a small show and there weren't really any muscle cars and if there were, then I missed them. I much prefer the older classics myself.
Hey Mona, I must have as many car photos as you have of those great little birds - love seeing them all the time! Thanks for your comment too.
You got that right, Ginnie because they sure don't make cars like they used to and definitely don't make them to last as long. Hope you are recovering nicely.
Lots of beautiful cars at the fair! Our fair doesn't have a car show, but we do have several at other places during the summer. We go to a lot of car shows wherever we go as Marty really likes the old cars. You did a great job with your photos. I like the way you shot the details as well as the whole vehicle. There are some fantastic details on old cars, much classier than the modern ones.
We also like seeing these vintage autos, Elaine. And after seeing the photos of Marty's garage and his collection I know how MUCH Marty likes the old models. Thanks for the compliments too. Often the details are more interesting than the whole as I'm sure you know from your photos.
