That’s right folks… Porky came for dinner tonight. He may have misunderstood that he was the Main Course and not the main attraction (even though he was). He did question why he had to sit in the smoker for 4 hours. We of course used the sauna explanation. Let’s face it, he is getting a little chunky round the middle. As for coughing from the hickory smoke we used the new lung clearing explanation. At last check Porky was really enjoying himself, and was almost ready.
So after 4 hours in the ‘sauna’ we took Porky out and here he is. Lean, mean and ready to eat (or is that be eaten)? We have found in the past that not everyone is skilled at slicing between the ribs, although i do remember some folks from my past life in the city that were almost ‘surgical’ yet never went to Med School. Now Porky will be joined with Beatrice’s slaw and baked beans, AND our friends Bob and Marty will be here soon to help eat Porky and all the ‘fixin’s’. Bon Apatite Ya’ll.

Holy cow, or should I say pig? Anyway, I blink and there are four posts up. Keep up the good work though.
And that is what happens when the heat index hits 100 here. At 105 we tap on the temp thing to make sure it's still working, At 110 we think about slowing down a bit, at 115 we take the rest of the day off, at 120 we head indors and take a nap.
Life on the Eastern Shore...

To All the YUMMSTERS!!!!!!
Porky will be making a return visit to the Frog & PenguINN on July 4th in the late afternoon. He will be accompanied by the Princess of Cole Slaw, and washed down by some wonderful libation imported from Pottsville Pa.
Let us know if you are coming, we'll toss another rack in the smoker.
