Money Laundering

It’s NOT the type of laundering you might be thinking about, but this instead . . .

laundered moneyThat’s what happened after a 2-week trip and getting home after midnight last night, then putting clothes in the laundry, but forgetting to check pockets. It’s a great thing that nearly all cards are plastic, cause everything got soaped and rinsed.

Now, Grenville can boast that he has the cleanest money in town. And, there’s a large sign on the washer to CHECK POCKETS first.

Ever happen to you ?

So glad you all are home safe, I bet you are tired but looks like you had a great time. I have done that too, washed money and dried it too in the dryer then to find out it was in my pants pocket.

I've washed loose bills left in a pocket, crayons (and dried them which was a mess!), lipstick (oh my), lip balm....but never a wallet. Looks like it all worked out for you!

I just found a very clean $5 bill in my pocket. It was kind of exciting. Found money. I find nails and screws in the washer and dryer ALL the time!

I don't usually find money in the laundry. I always check pockets, but I do find money in jacket pockets, vest pockets, etc. now and then.

It's no wonder you find all those surprises with Lee's and your own multi projects.

Crayons would have made for colorful new clothing!

Have washed money, but not a whole wallet! That took greater skill than I have! LOL!
And crayons... oh, yes. Anyone tried pastels?
