At the end of July, a post described what was happening in The Frog & PenguINN orchard, nothing was ready for harvesting then.
This year’s fruit crop is not great for many reasons, some weather-related; however, over the weekend, Grenville harvested enough of these . . .To make one of these — fresh peach pie . . .
The inside was wonderfully warm when he cut into it and served with vanilla bean ice cream . . .
Sorry, you weren’t here to help us enjoy this treat, there’s still some left, if you hurry. AND, Grenville’s planning to make another one with the remaining harvest.
Who’s bringing the ice cream ?

Make Peach cobbler too....it is even better than pie!!!!!...:)JP
Yum.
I would love that! Looks scrumptious! My Doctor has told me to cut back on sugar intake, so I'd probably have to control myself and not have any.
i love vanilla bean ice cream and bob loves apple pie with ice cream...but we both love peach pie with ice cream.
I love peach pie with either ice cream or custard.
Those clouds in the earlier post looks so beautiful!
Have a great day!
Christer.
That's just cruel showing such delicious pie. The final photo really rubbed it in and I'll be despondent all day. Of course, I'm just kidding (or maybe not).
Looks good! I'll bring some homemade vanilla ice cream!
Oh my! That looks so delicious!
Oh yum! I have yet to get my hands in a decent peach this year. Yours looks delicious!
That is yummy!
That's a yummy looking pie, Beatrice. I was coming right over for a slice but looks like you ate it all. Well, maybe next time!
That looks like a great pie! I love stone fruit. And for all its simplicity , vanilla bean ice cream is still the best.
Glad you liked my "wordy" post - there will be another one going up before the end of the week.
Cheers
