New Camera, Random Shots
Recent posts, praised then regretted my purchase of the Samsung WB250F digital “smart” camera with a multitude of features — touch screen and wi-fi. Too late for a return to Amazon, it was sold on eBay to a satisfied buyer making us both very happy. After selling the Samsung, I did what any photo-bug might do and bought another one. The above collage of birds at the backyard feeders was taken with it as were the blooms below. This new digital camera (which Grenville bought first) is not pocket-sized, like the Samsung; its zoom is nearly 2-1/2X greater. We’re taking the cameras, and ourselves, to the Salisbury Zoo cause it’s all happening there (per Simon & Garfunkel).

That last photo is fabulous! Nikon I presume.
Nice collages! I must say your town is definitely for the birds. Here we have crows, jays, starlings, turkeys and sometimes vultures. Okay we do have pretty hummingbirds year round. But songbirds are rarely seen or heard. I'm envious.
it looks like a keeper to me, can't wait to hear what you bought and see the zoo pics
My camera begins and ends in N, too. I love it. And I love those collages. They scream summer!
It looks like you have great results. New is sometimes hard until you use it for a while.
Beautiful collages. I especially like the flowers! Glad to hear you were able to sell the other camera.
I am sure you'll be happy with your Nikon.
What fun shots. Enjoy that new camera! :)
So You have bought a Nikon? My favorite camera brand :-)
Beautiful photos of both birds and flowers!
Have a great day!
Christer.
Your new camera surely does the job well. Have fun with it.
