Can't narrow it down: vent, mat, blind. Haha I'm probably wrong on all counts. I so know it's not part of a snowshoe, however. :)
We have air filters that look like that.
I don´t think it´s blinds, so I´ll go for a went of some kind.

I am guessing window shades, i don't have them but wish i did.

Pleated blind?
At first I thought a washboard until i saw the hint. I say a pleated blind.
It is that word "several" that has me curious. There appears to be some lint on it, so I was going to guess the filter in a vacuum or an air cleaner, since I do have several of each of those around the house. I know some furnaces take more than one filter, but I don't think the material this is made of looks like a furnace filter.
You do have your own way of looking at the world.
Thanks Everyone for the imaginative "guesses" but I'm not quite ready to reveal WHAT is actually shown in the above photos. That surprise will have to wait until Friday's post. The last time, there were some last minute entrants so this should give everyone a chance to try and figure this one out.

Dogsmom, that lint might really be dust and thanks I like to think my outlook is "unique" at times (Most times Grenville would add).
