Friday Funnies

Tis true, that it's the season to be jolly, but holiday joy has been lessened by the you-know-what virus.
Still, we should take time to try and look at the humorous side of things as in this post.
Many folks are growing so tired of being good all year, but Santa knows who's been good.
And, if we can all put the brake on some holiday activities this year.
Hopefully, we will eventually give this virus the boot for good.
Thanks for your comments on our holiday decorations, which cheer us up every day.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone.
(Yikes, only two weeks till Christmas)

Cute.I like Grenville's idea of naught list being ok's this year. Those of us who perservered and took cautions are just as sad as those who didn't, and many of us know someone who died from this awful pandemic. Let's focus on any positives besides a COVID test!

What a lovely tree. I think our holiday will be as jolly as we let it be. The virus just means that we can't gather together in large crowds. We can still be together via phone, Portal, zoom, etc. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

I'm asking Santa to expunge all of these bogus pandemic restrictions. And I'm looking forward to giving 2020 the boot and hoping 2021 will be a better year.
Your Christmas tree is beautiful!

I agree with you. In spite of the virus, we should most definitely take time to look at the humorous side of things. And this post DID it for me! You are so clever with words and photos; particularly "good year" because I remember those TV commercials when I was a kid!

I know, can you believe how fast Christmas day is approaching?

Thanks so much for your humor and cheer, my friend! I too am focusing on the "good" and all my many blessings.

Have a superb weekend!

Just think about when things will be more normal -- we are near normal on this Island, we are ever so lucky.
Take care.

I think we are all anxious to give the boot to COVID, but it may be a while yet before it is truly behind us and normal life can resume.

Actually, I've been pretty good this year, but my opportunities for naughty have been somewhat limited. Love your decorations. Pep would have a great time visiting your cute friends. Thanks so much for the card!

Beatrice, We would have loved to be naughty this year but the risk was too great! Hopefully, Christmas 2021 will be with family and friends and not via ZOOM... Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Thanks for that much-needed bit of humor in this rather dreary time!

Teddy is clearly afraid of being overlooked by Santa. But I'm told teddies are right at the top of Santa's gift list.
