Friday Funnies

Don't fence me in didn't seem to fit, perhaps don't lock the fence ?
Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins in most of the U.S. this Sunday, March 8 (2nd Sunday in March) and ends on the 1st Sunday in November, which falls on Sunday, Nov. 1.

We're "losing" an hour of sleep as clocks “Spring forward”  ahead. The computers and tablets will reset automatically. We also have 7 wall clocks, 2 pedestal clocks and a couple of wrist watches to reset (we still use basic ones that only tell time). Then there's the appliance clocks and clocks in the car GPS units. How many clocks/watches will you reset?

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone.

My clocks are on my laptop and phone and they will reset themselves. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Daylight Saving Time is a completely worthless annoyance that - in my opinion - should be banned. For the past few years I have refused to change my clocks. Thank goodness the computer clock changes automatically.

Speaking of clocks- My Mother had a desk 'talking clock' to tell her the time as she had been almost blind (glaucoma) during the last decade of her life.

Peculiarly (and chillingly) the clock voice went on telling the time some seven years after her death. I didn't know a battery could work that long.

I wish we did not change to DST. There really is no reason anymore (if there ever was a real reason) and it simply upsets things twice a year.

Truth, I actually left one last fall that I don't see very often just out of protest. It will be correct again soon--LOL! ;)

I only have two to change when we do the time change which is later than you.

I have to change the oven clock, 2 wall clocks and another small clock in the bedroom.
I don’t use the clock on the microwave oven, and don’t wear wrist watches.

6 clocks and two watches .. but I ignore the watches on the grounds that I can only wear one at a time. I do wish we didn't have this chore!

Before I go I want to thank you for your recent support. Feeling better today.

I don't think that lock is keeping much of anything safe. Most of my clocks reset on their own, but I will still have the stove, microwave, car, and 3 wall clocks to change.

I only have to reset my microwave. Yes, I'm a little lazy about it because I still haven't done it. My watch and Fitbit reset automatically. Of course it will take my body a few days to reset, too.

Ha ha fun photo. The only thing I can tell with daylight savings time is that it does make our days have "more daytime" in the late afternoon. In summer it does not get dark until past 9.pm.......which is great for those late afternoon outside projects

I had to reset a mantle clock, an alarm clock, my microwave, and one device. My mobile and computer reset themselves.
