That’s what our PA road trip last week was all about – a wedding and time spent with family who travelled from various states, including the grandchildren as the wedding was for their aunt.
After several days of family fun and together time – it was time for the BIG event – the wedding. The grands were dressed in their wedding best as well.
Back to the wedding – as the groom and best man waited . . .
The bride’s best friend and sister came first . . .
Followed by the bride and proud father; her mom was there in spirit . . .
First photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. and with friends.
Photo time followed with the sisters, then family members.
Proud father Grenville and his daughters and granddaughter.
Toasting and cake cutting . . .
Family good times . . .
First dance and more dancing. . .
A toast by the wedding photographer, the grandchildren's father.
A final photo of grandkids and their mom, smiles all around.

You sure have had a whirlwind trip but oh what memories you have and have made with your grand babies. Outstanding photography as always and look how beautiful you all look. Proud moment or a father to walk his daughter down the isle. I get choked at weddings when the groom cries, shows so much love. I pray the happy couple have many years togeter..."What GOD has put together, may no one put asunder".

AC. really, really tried to cut down, but was having serious withdrawal - family got way more photos via online photo sharing!
Thanks Doris and looking forward to "seeing" photos of your upcoming family wedding (sorry to have missed you this visit, but we're planning to revisit PA in July and hope we can connect again).
Sandra, mea culpa and I fess up to having taken ALL these shots and way more using my point & shoot Canon PowerShot. The "official" wedding photographer had the big Canon DSLR and the gear to go along with it.
THANKS, Tammy for the kind words and well wishes. Rest assured, I will be back in touch and hope we chat soon.

They are both beaming with love...congrats to them and you!...:)JP
Beautiful wedding and so many happy faces! You did an excellent job of telling the story of the day. That's one proud looking dad--and who can blame him with two such beautiful daughters?
I'm playing a little catch-up on blog reading after a week spent taking care of our granddaughter and getting the spring yardwork and planting done, and there's still a bit more planting to do. I just can't seem to cut back on the flowers. I loved your collages of the Lancaster barns--definitely a challenge to find a red one amongst all the white! We visited the Choo Choo Barn too last October and spent quite a bit of time there. It's an amazing collection!
I love weddings. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
Also, yay - I'm your 100th follower.
Love how you put this all together so we could have a taste of the celebration.
As always I just love your photo collages that tell a story!! What a lovely wedding.... so many smiles!
Nothing like a family gathering for such a happy time.
Are you like me and going through a little family withdrawal this week? I loved seeing everyone so much on our trip to LA and now am missing them like crazy!
