W-O-W– $3.29/gal
This was the average gas price on the VA eastern shore this a.m. compared to 10 days ago when it was $3.35/gal.
Seems odd to be cheering about $3+/gal gas, but it’s a lot easier to take than the nearly $4/gal just a couple of months ago.
And, we’re hoping it gets even lower in the next few weeks before we take a mid-July road trip to visit family in PA, NJ, RI followed by a side trip to NH.
Have prices lowered in other U.S. states as well? Fellow blogger Sandra said they were below $3.25 in parts of FL. Of course, we know lower gas prices are a hope overseas and in Canada, where they always remain higher.

It was $3.07 in Dothan, Alabama yesterday.
$3.08 in Roanoke today.
It's gone down here in CT as well...and yes, I hope the downward trend continues!...:)JP
We have $3.819 for a gal. of regular unleaded. Seems pretty high to me!
Coming down here as well. Yeah!
I think that is pretty low, here today it is down o $3.49. I think on our travels south in Feb the cheapest gas was about $3.20 in Louisiana or Mississippi.
There is reason to cheer. I fueled up yesterday at $3.119 (will they ever drop that "9"?)
i agree with Ludwig, that .9 thing is just crazy. just put up there what it is. wow on some of these at 3.09 love that one. i wonder if we will ever go below 3 again in our life time
i paid 3.35 today. Hate3 to see this rise, I have put over 3,000 in 3 1/2 weeks.
I believe it was about 4.16 here.
