Friday Funnies

There's a theme behind this week's Friday Funnies post — the color white.
Snow is first and we finally had a bit of yesterday, nothing to brag about, but for a while the ground was covered in white. It eventually turned to drizzle and then rain overnight.
Suds and lots of them were seen when passing by the laundry room. It seems someone got carried away with the detergent use.
Snowmen have made their appearance outside our apartment entry. They look ready for a snowball fight, and as the sign says Let It Snow. Unfortunately, there's none in the forecast.

Thanks for the well wishes for a speedy recovery from our recent colds. We're both feeling better after a week of resting, reading, and some homemade soup, the best "medicine."

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
Be careful as it's Friday the 13th; the next one is Oct 13.
(there's only two in 2023)

I like your take on white, especially the soap in the washing machine. I hope you enjoy this little damp but wet warm up, and happy weekend to you both. hugs-Erika

We haven't had any snow in Belfast so far this winter, just a lot of hard frosts. Snow looks great when it first settles, but it soon turns to grey mush which is not so attractive.

I’m looking forward to green again, but I enjoyed your take on white.

Here the snow is falling today.

We are also forecast to have snow this afternoon...but being above freezing (just a bit) it may not stick. Love your snow people's arrangement!

I like the snow/white stuff theme. The snowman display is fun.

It is always so lovely to see the town covered in a little snowy white.
Glad that you are both feeling better there. Yes to homemade...truly the best medicine.

Glad y'all are feeling better
Goodness, that washer is sudsy! I won't be surprised if it leaked suds.
I thought the prediction for this winter is snowy. Maybe February.

I can tell you that it is very white outside here today.

I like the white. We keep getting rain and I would like some snow!

No snow yet here at all. Yet. Sometimes winter really starts in February. Happy new year, and I'm glad you're feeling better.

I had a front loading washing machine many years ago and on occasion would make that mistake. It's easy to do with that type.

The rain that followed the snow here did not melt what we had on the ground. It did make it slush.

the suds pic appeals to the MAD part of me. i like the white theme, and of course your snowman guards at your front door. no snow here but we did have the mother of all thunder/lightning this morning just before day light and now freezing cold air from the NORTH is flowing in and our temps are dropping 1 degree per hour, gonna be 3 really cold mornings for us, but then back to Florida again. really cold is 41 at wake up

Apologies for missing the post about your colds dear Dorothy. Good to know that both of you are recovering quickly my dear friend!

Even slightly snowing has transformed the whole scenery. Loved the pictures.
Snowman are utterly cute :)))

Hahaha the washing machine made me laugh. You are amazing at finding funnies within the things 👍☺️

Nice choices for the FF white theme. I do like a little bit of snow, but think Ron is hoping for a blizzard sometime soon. Please, no! It's been a bit too mild weather wise so here's hoping we at least get some lower temps. Those snowmen are adorable.
Glad you're both feeling better! Soup is one of my favorite things to make. Will have to get busy in the kitchen with a pot of something yummy real soon.
Have a good weekend. :)

Nice take on "White." I have not seen snow in years and don't miss it.

We have zero snow here. Not complaining but it's so odd. It's been weeks -- not any since what we got at Christmas melted.

So happy you are feeling better. Those colds can really drag one down.
Wish we could share some of our rain here in No. CA...maybe you would then get some snow!
Ummm, yummm, homemade soup...it's the best.

I am so sorry you both are under the weather. Our bout with covid was a long one and it is now history. I hope you can stay warm and enjoy the views of the river.

The world of white. We say this when there is a blizzard with total white out.

Well, I survived Friday 13th without mishap! I like the look of those snowmen, better than the real stuff.

Not a single snowflake in sight here, sadly just miserable rain and high winds. I am glad you are feeling better now (I missed your last post, sorry). Colds are just so nasty! Have a lovely week x

We had a few flakes in Brooklyn on Saturday but they vanished before noon.

Keep feeling better!

That washer -- LOL!! I am surprised you have no (or not much) snow -- I always think everything "up North" will be covered this time of year. .... one good thing about being behind in my reading is finding out that you are getting better from colds I didn't even know about. I am glad for that, agree that homemade soup is the best medicine. Stay well! And thank you for the smiles. As always.

We almost never get snow. So no chance of enjoying a white cover. During winter months, I'm anxious not to to catch a cold. everything else is secondary.

I absolutely enjoyed your take on white.

So sorry you both are under the weather.

I, too, have not fully recovered from my flu - no more fever but the coughing persists.

Hugs and blessings, Dorothy.

Looks very pretty, even the over sudsy front loader ;) Sorry to read about you both being under the weather. Feel better soon!
