No wonder I can never find a handle.

PS second attempt at making a comment. Might get through this time. Fingers crossed.

That kind of handle is very, very unusual over here. I've almost only seen them in tv programs from the US :-)

Have a great day!

I love those wonderful old door knobs! I hate these modern ones; they have no character!

I'm particularly fond of the cut glass knobs and thanks for all the info in your last blog showing how the trees are planted ! You do good work!!

Love it! There's always some little surprise in what you find to post!

My Grandfather's house had those glass doorknobs. Why don't we have prettier doorknobs now...think about it, that is right at a child's level and is the perfect place for a kid to see beauty. Grateful that I could even appreciate a doorknob!

Nice blog! I will add it to my "favorites" list right now. I love the door knobs. The previous house my late wife and I owned was an old Victorian and had these white ones throughout. Brings back memories.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I always like to add new readers and hear what they have to say.

Hi Jimmie Earl and Welcome. Thanks for the visit and comment. This older Victorian we now live in has many original old doorknobs, some of those white ones and some metal but no glass ones. We have not replaced any with "modern" ones. And we also like to add new readers as we've already done with your blog and Mellodee musings.
