Friday Funnies

Thanks, to all from Patrick (aka Grenville) for the 🎂 Birthday wishes. He appreciated all. We spent a few days in Yarmouth, MA, (Cape Cod area). Unfortunately, it rained several days. Beach time was limited, but we found other things to do, details to come.

Here's an on-the-road sighting, that seems to be truly Open Air Seating
What do you think?
Blog posting and reading have fallen behind this week. We've had some catching up to do on things here at home. It rained (again) this week and more 🌧 is forecast today, but Sat and Sun predicted to be in the mid-80s and rain-free. Thankfully, the Nashua, NH, temps have not been scorchers 🥵 like many other states. Hope all is well in your part of the country/world.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
We're both doing separate volunteer projects

So glad you are back home safe and sound, and that you had a great time, even if it did rain! The sofa on the truck is funny...I love your "open air seating" thought! Just glad no one was actually sitting on the sofa as it traveled down the road...or like "Granny" from the Beverly Hillbillies, riding along in her rocking chair! Glad you are not where there is so much flooding. I saw some pictures from upstate NH where there is flooding. What a mess the roads have become! And Vermont is truly a mess and so many people are displaced. Praying for all. Have a good weekend and take your time getting caught up here. We'll still be here!

Stay safe in your part of the world. The floods I have seen on TV have been devastating.

very creative moving of the two sofas, wonder what kind of motorcycles that trailer carries. we need sofas, but they are THOUSANDS of dollars.

We're supposed to be back in the 80s and 90s for the next 10 days. I greatly appreciated our short break we had in the 70s. Hot all over, it seems. Stay cool!!

I'm looking forward to your trip photos too. Sorry it rained but glad you found other things to enjoy while there.
We are still hot, hot, hot! Today its suppose to be 105F. Ugh but at least it's not humid.
Love to see that you and Hubby are volunteering.
Dave and I are volunteering at Celebrate Recovery tonight, serving desserts and goodies for about 100 attendees. Its always our pleasure to set up, serve and clean up after.
Enjoy your weekend.

Very nice. It is fun to think of riding around in a truck while resting on a sofa.
Have a delightful weekend!

I hope that strap held until he got to where he was going! Imagine those couches come sliding toward in the middle of the road. Geez.

so happy you are back dear Dorothy !

unusual weather is both joy and trouble for the people from different places .unlike before we are having rains though very light once in a while which is after many years so it seems a better summer this year :)

i am glad you found many other things to do which did not make you miss beach time :)

best of luck for projects of both of you!

haha that seating on vehicle looks intriguing ,need for a fine outing can make one very inventive lol
blessings and hugs!

Glad you had a nice trip, but too bad about the weather. Had to laugh at the open air seating. There's always catch up after a trip, mounds of laundry...then you can start thinking or planning your next outing.

ha,ha, what a comfy way to travel, with natural air con as well :-) Just need a footstool and table to hold a cup of coffee!

Sometimes block posting and reading has to take a backseat (maybe not quite like in the photo). It shouldn't be a chore to do but fun.
