Friday Funnies

A single caption came to mind for this photo . . . Feel free to add your own in the comments
Dinner Time Back-Up
This photo of assorted goats was taken at the Farm of the Mountain View Grand during our Thanksgiving stay this past November. (The fourth one in from the left is not pregnant, but just "plump" we were told.)  When the Dodge family hosted their first guests in 1865, Mountain View was a working farm producing much of its own food. It remains a working farm today; hotel guests can view the farm area. The animals are popular with the youngest visitors and many adults, like us.

What a difference a week makes; this forecast is much warmer than last weekend.
Hope the weather is getting better in your area too — despite Punxsutawney Phil's forecast of six more weeks of winter.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
Grenville and I are recovering from colds, once again
(Yes, we tested for that other "C" word and flunked it)

I don't know what type of animals these are.

It was windy but so nice yesterday, in the mid 60’s. Next week looks decent, too!

There are a lot of nonCovid viruses around. I can't tell if I've had one endless virus coming back, or a series. But I'm glad for the days I'm doing better!

Funny animals at the trough. I could make a cynical caption about Washington, but I'll refrain.

Very cute goat photo. I like your capition.
Looks like you're going to have a nice couple of warm days there. Enjoy!

We had some extremely cold weather this week, but it is now rainy and above freezing.

I think a certain goat found a mate somewhere! It's colder today but will get warmer tomorrow.

Cute goats getting their feed...though I prefer the other ends. Sorry about your colds...not fun even when not anything major. For years we've worked through so many colds, and now there are all these more debilitating things for respiratory systems.

Goatmeal, again??

Had to see the 'non-pregmant' one (from your comment on Sandra's blog)

Hope your cold is finally going away..they are no fun for sure.
cute photo of the hungry goats, even from that angle..(:0)
Our weather is about the same temps as yours this week. So glad to have the sun shining again.
I even see buds on our plum and almond trees. I guess Spring is really on its way.
Busy day ahead for me so I have to scoot.

Your caption is perfect! Hopefully, the weather is warming up, as we are tired of cold and its viruses' threats.

Hope you both feel better soon.
Cute photo. :)

I would totally think that goat was pregnant.

Ah, what a lovely photo, that one is VERY plump, if it's not pregnant I think I would be concerned if it was mine. I hope you both get well soon. I'm sorry I missed your birthday Beatrice. I hope you have a good weekend.

Whatever they're eating, it must be pretty tasty. They're getting well stuck in!

Love the goats! So really cute and happy looking, even from the rear view! LOL. I am sorry to hear that you and your hubby are both fighting colds. I am almost over mine. It's been a long almost two weeks. Thankfully my hubby hasn't gotten it. It started as an allergy attack I think, and he doesn't seem to be trouble by those like I am. A LOT of people are sick around here now, and yes, covid has been making the rounds again. Not to me, thank the Lord. We are expecting some cooler temps again next week I think...but today was warm in 80 ish. We need rain so much, and finally got some this afternoon, and hopefully more tomorrow. That should help clear the air a bit. Take care and feel better soon.

Goats can be real characters.

They say there's more danger from flu than from Covid in the UK at the moment - and plenty of other cold-like bugs are around too. Take care.

Cute goat photo. I was just reading today about the 12 seasons of New England. After winter comes false spring, which would be where we are today. I am loving it thought so hopefully it will last, or at least not get so cold. But it's too early to say we are past more snow I think. Sadly. Happy weekend. hugs-Erika

I really like the goats photo. They are so popular anymore with the larger ones and the smaller ones too.

Love the cute photo!

Today has been a wonderfully warm, sunny day in my corner of the world.

Beatrice, We love goats...and dogs, donkeys, cats, horses and more. Goats are fun to watch...whereas donkey's are so smart you never know what antics you can expect next. You are right...that one goat sure looks like she's about to deliver. Rainy here today with a one day cold snap tonight...then back in the 50s, hopefully with a bit of sunshine. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

It's as hot as Hades here at present.

I'm tempted to draw faces on the rear ends.... :)

If flunked means it came back negative, that is definitely the test you want to flunk. Bill teases me about all the "butt shots" I take of birds and other wildlife -- they have a way of turning around just as I snap a picture. But I'm sure even he would agree that your taken-on-purpose shot is perfect!
