Outside dining returned to downtown Nashua earlier this spring as announced by these large signs at both ends of Main Street. Here's two different views of recent street dining in downtown Nashua, NH — workers taking a lunch break and patrons dining at Martha's Exchange.
Many thanks for your comments on the previous Nashua This 'n That post, especially about the city's flowers and murals. There are many more throughout downtown and sculptures, which were not included, as well. A future post(s) will include more examples of all.
Enjoy your Weekend, Everyone
We're on the road next week to visit family in RI and CT

Down here it is way too hot to sit outside and eat. It's all I can do to walk the dog at 6:15 in the morning so outdoor dining here has to wait until November.
Inside or outside, eating is one of our basic pleasures in life.
It's happening here too in certain areas.
Outdoor dining is very enjoyable. I hope a lot of places keep it. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
Eating outside is relaxing... almost like having a picnic.
I think the people at the tables look more comfortable.
The two photos of diners is very clever.
utside is still safer.
Got your letter, BTW! :) :)
A big contrast.
Enjoy the visit as I'm sue you both will.
Take care.
I love outdoor dining in appropriate places. Literally on Main Street is not one of them in my opinion.
Hi Dorothy! :) I used to love sitting on a terrace when I lived in Montreal, but now that I'm a country bumpkin, I just like to make my own food and enjoy it at home! :)
once it stopped raining it was nice to eat outside

I like outdoor dining very much. It’s not very common in my area though.
Two contrasting ‘picnics’! Enjoy time with family!
I love it when lanes or even better entire streets are closed and instead they're used for outdoor dining. It reminds me a lot of the European pedestrian zones that I really miss.
Al fresco dining is getting a lot bigger here in the Philippines as well. I hope you have an amazing road trip and family reunions in RI and Connecticut dear Beatrice! Stay safe and have fun!
Many restaurants and cafes in our area have greatly expanded their outdoor seating areas to comply with covid restrictions and increase capacity now that the number of indoor tables has been reduced. Luckily it's the time of year when you can sit outside without freezing to death!
Love the contrasting diners!
New York's governor just signed legislation extending the outdoor dining program for another year.
I miss outdoor dining very much. But right now any form of dining other than take-outs and deliveries are not allowed.
Happy Tuesday!
It's great people can once again dine outdoors. We have all sheltered in place for so long.
