This display and sign were seen in our visit to Deja Vu Furniture, a most very unusual emporium. It was just one of many humorous signs posted throughout the store.
And, this is why I never eat taffy or caramel of any type. I already have enough dental issues without adding more problems. How about you?
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone

Same here! Fortunately, the only candy I like is chocolate.
That sign is very funny. When someone really ready to buy a taffy, they will be warned by the sign!
Good idea to have second thoughts...taffy used to be one of my favorites, but I did go to the dentist afterward!!
Hahahahahaha
That's an american invention; not good for teeth. The sign is educational, and should be taken seriously.
I don't remember eating salt water taffy, but I probably did. I have the years of dental work to prove it! LOL!
I like the concept of cavity kits -- telling it like it is!
Funny sign!! Oh, I occasionally try to have a bit of taffy or caramel, but having dental issues as well, I just go real slow. LOL
Have a nice weekend!! ~Mary
i would like to visit that emporium no candy for me but in the past i would have tried the taffy
I think it's been years since I've had taffy.
I don't eat a lot of candy, but I do love Mounds! That sign is so funny. You have a wonderful weekend, hugs, Edna B.
The more ads you see for a product the less good it is for you. Did you ever see an expensive advertisement for vegetables?
Smiling at the sings, it's a beauty.
Dorothy I even had to stop eating Toblerones!!! That nougat is a tooth killer!!
No, have never had salt water taffy. Sounds downright dangerous--LOL! ;)
I remember the first time my dentist told me to lay off the sweets. I was a kid and I thought he was crazy.
Then he suggested brushing my teeth immediately after eating candy or cookies. I almost laughed in his face.
Luckily I have since lost my taste for the sugary stuff and he'll have to get someone else to put his kids through college.
Oh Taffy! Our boss from RI sent us those which she cutely packed in colored papers and cute pastel ribbons that she sent to us when another Manager visited the Philippines. I did enjoy them but funnily I had to cut it in half because it's too sweet for me haha Have a great week ahead dear Beatrice!
What you call taffy we call fruit chews. Like Bijoux, I seldom eat sweets/candies so my teeth are in fairly good shape. I only have 26 teeth as six were extracted as a kid, due to small jaws, so I take special care of what's left!
Yes Taffy is the quickest way to remove any fillings you may have! My days of eating that kind of sweet are over sadly.
That is hilarious! So funny. Oh that salt water taffy definitely can be lethal to teeth. I am with you on not adding unnecessary problems with candy that isn't :*that* great to begin with! (Now if Reeses Peanut Butter Cups were that dangerous, I would have a real problem!)
