Friday Funnies

There's was s-no-w time for sitting by the Nashua River side this week despite seating there.

The snow started falling in Nashua, NH, late Monday afternoon and ended on Tuesday morning. It wasn't the heaviest snowfall and estimates were about 12 inches here in the city.

Thanks to everyone for the 🎂 wishes this week, your comments were very much appreciated. Also glad that so many enjoyed the backstory about the birthday song. It was interesting to read about it and my pleasure to share with all.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
Some light snow may be in our forecast.

We only got about 4 inches, so we lucked out. I’m ready for spring.

Snowing here this morning. Should be another 3 inches on top of the foot we got on Tuesday. I'm enjoying all this snow after being snow starved in Maryland for so many years.

Did you have your vaccine or is it next week? Ours is the 23rd.

We got a few inches of snow and lots of ice when it froze. I'm looking forward to Spring. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Looks so cold. It's cold here too.

Beatrice, we love 'looking' at your snow! It's very pretty but its also why we moved out of the north country to retire. Too much snow and too cold! We've had one measurable snowfall so far this year. Typically, Knoxville (the county just north of us) has 6.5" of snow in an entire winter. An inch of snow brings everything to a stop and panic sets in! The snowiest day on record was on 2/13/60 when 17.5" of snow fell... The worst winter was 1959/1960 when the area had 56.7" total. We didn't move here until 2009 so we haven't suffered through those record snowfalls... Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

We may be having some snow here on Sunday, unlike America when the UK gets it the whole country grinds to a halt.

That is a very beautiful scene but I would have to get a waterproof blanket wrapped around me that is heated before I would sit in that chair :)

So pretty! We are getting the freezing temps but no snow. Too cold to snow. ;)

It looks quite similar to here at the moment.

Thanks for sharing, even if it's different than your past funny Fridays. I love seeing the beauty of fresh snow!

That is a odd photo - the snow looks nice.

Plenty of snow on the Mainland causing chaos but thankfully none on our little Island as yet.

Your snowfall was about the same as ours here on the Island even though we were expecting much more. A belated happy birthday! I enjoyed your birthday post and have a lovely weekend.💖

I'm so far behind the eight-ball with my reading of, and commenting on blogs! I've been very slack this past week!

A very Happy Birthday to you, Beatrice...belated though my wishes may be...good wishes are never belated, but always current and relevant. :)

A lovely snow photo. Hopefully you're sitting inside, warm and cozy. We're supposed to get three inches of snow tonight here in TN.

Very pretty picture. I like snow if I don't have to go out in it and don't have to shovel it. We got 8 inches here the other day and are expecting another 8 inches tomorrow. I wish it would warm up. We are going to be in the 20s this week.

We received closed to an inch here in the sultry south. Naturally, we all dashed out to fill up our cars with gasoline and purchased milk and bread. It's just what we do (for some unknown reason). Have a wonderful week!

We got about a foot of snow this week and a few more inches today!

What beautiful views you have...but no, I would not welcome a seat there just now ☺ We had a little snow yesterday and more in the forecast this week. Winter is not letting us forget what season it is this year!

Not sure if this is the same river that has all those rubber duckies dear Beatrice but it sure looks 100% different due to the season! So beautiful!!! Though I know how cold that is for sure haha. Thank you for sharing this beautiful snowy scene!

The weather forecasts here in Northern Ireland have been predicting snow for several days, but as yet we haven't seen any. But there have been massive snowfalls in England.

It looks pretty but I'll let you sit on the chair! Some parts of northern England have had a lot of snow but we've missed most of it, not that it's been any warmer.

My apologies, Beatrice. I thought I had commented on your post below. Good wishes never go astray...Happy Birthday to you...even though belated. I hope you enjoyed your birthday.

Thanks for the history behind the melody.

No snow here...of course...we're in the last month of our summer. Where I live here in South East Queensland snow is a no-no! Take good care. :)
