What a Difference

A week's weather can be like. Last Sunday we had an 8-inch snowfall in Nashua, NH which included some sleet and freezing rain. The temperatures plummeted into  the single digits by the following day. On Monday, the daytime temperature was well below 10º F all day. These views were taken this past Sunday a.m.

By mid-week, the temperature started to moderate and climbed to the 20s and 30s. And, on Thursday, it reached a daytime high of 54º F. These views were taken Friday afternoon after a day of downpours. Now, the concern isn't snow and ice, but flooding.
Mother Nature can certainly be fickle and, perhaps that's her prerogative.

At any rate, our weather has changed dramatically in a week's time. Has your weather been very changeable/dramatic as well?

that is a huge change. I always like to see your View. it is amazing to me since all we see is flat land. no views from anywhere. Mother nature has been slamming us like some tennis player, weather up and down and all over the place. we use heat in the am and ac in the pm, dry spells that seem will never end, downpour that causes flooding. Mother Nature appears to be on quite the rampage all over the world

After 4 Snow Days last week, I wouldn't be surprised if there were another this week. We shall see. Except for a brief letup for a day or so here, it remains pretty cold.

Right now we have both Britbox and Acorn. They have different shows. We first watched Acorn, and when we had caught up witht he shows that interested us, switched to Britbox. But Acorn has offered us a free month to come back, so here we are with both for the time being.

What a difference indeed! We've had multiple seasons all week. One day it was so icy that I couldn't cycle in our neighbourhood roads (the main roads were ok). Today it is warm (for January) and sunny and in between we've had some days with torrential rains.

Oh yes, we went from a week of high tides and rainy weather without end to days of beautiful sunshine and long walks. Lovely photos!

It most certainly keeps life interesting.

The temperatures here were very cold at the start of the week before moderating, but haven't gone above the freezing mark. We had more snow in the night to add to what we've had in the last few days.

Yes, our weather has been up and down and sideways in the past week or so. We are bracing ourselves for this upcoming week when bitter cold is predicted to return.

I know everyone is experiencing colder than normal temps this weekend! We are in the cool 50s all the way in Florida but I won't complain. It will warm up tomorrow! Hugs!

It's raining nonstop here. And cold.
I think everywhere the weather is colder than usual this month.

Weather is always very changeable but what you're talking about is extreme. that's what makes the difference.

UK weather is unpredictable right now. We await the promised snow although the forecasters can't or won't give more details. It is bitterly cold which to me means the snow might stay away a while longer. Did you ever hear the expression 'it's too cold to snow'?

I am not surprised with this dramatic change dear Beatrice as I been observing that even here in Asia weather is being so unstable and unpredictable this year

Mother nature is surely reacting on some inappropriate behaviour of men probably
I LOVED both views!
