We'll Remember Always . . .

Grad balloon

The 1st Graduation Day for grandson Bobby this week as it marked the first of such celebrations to follow in years ahead.

This was his kindergarten graduation and as dutiful and (very) delighted grandparents, Grenville and I travelled to RI to be there. We were present for his birth and marking the milestones of his young life is what we continue to do. (Bobby is the letter "R" in the photo below.)

Of course, there was the nervous anticipation waiting for his name to be called, accepting his diploma and smiling proudly at his accomplishment.

Afterwards, posing happily alone and with his family — father (Robert), mother (Shannon) and sister (Ellie).

Bobby is ready to take a bite out of life — WHOOPS he already did that on the cake !

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2013 kindergarten class of Westbay Children's Center.

Our son graduated from college in December. I am struck by how quickly the time went by from his kindergarten to the last year at college.
Enjoy these years!!

How cute! We didn't have kindergarten graduations back in my day. We just went on to first grade the next year. We didn't graduate from anything until high school.
