So, you thought that Santa ONLY had a sleigh with 8 tiny reindeer. Well, we have it on good authority that he's using a Jeep 4-wheel drive to help put this year. It's white — to blend in with the snow, of course — and instead of 4-footed power, it uses 6 strong horses under the hood, named cylinder 1, cylinder 2 and so on.
OK, some folks may doubt the veracity of this updated mode of transport for Santa's holiday gift giving. But, just take a look inside the Jeep and you will see gifts wrapped in colorful paper and packaged with ribbons. There's also a pink and purple bike for a very special little girl.
The (almost) truth is that Santa was running a bit behind on deliveries this busy holiday time with so many places to go in a mere 24 hours. Since he knows who's been "naughty or nice," we didn't dare fib when he asked if we could help out. We couldn't say no to the Big Guy (especially after he let us wear his hats) and were already planning a New England road trip. Wrapped and ready gifts were picked up from our PA stop for deliveries to grandkids and family members in RI and CT this week.
Wonder if we could submit a voucher for mileage, gas and tolls to the North Pole?
Do you think payment would be in cocoa, cookies, and candy canes?

Catching up. nice to see Christmas went well and that you didn't let any grass grow under your feet.
Looks like there will be some happy children when those deliveries are made! Payment in cocoa, cookies, and candy canes sounds kind of good to me. :)
Nice new toy, i have bought both my girls new cars this last year and can't figure a new one for me in my budget.I drive a van so to have a portable office and something to contain all my gear. I like all the gifts, I think I told you I had a hard time staying out of the toy aisle this year.
Hi Steve, the original post title was a bit confusing. We did not get another Jeep, but have had this used one for a few years. The title was meant to imply that Santa was using a newer transport mode via our transport. Maybe your daughters will let you borrow one of their new cars, a very nice present! We managed to NOt go crazy in the toy aisle this year and most of the gifts shown were pickups for delivery.
in my official life as Sandra Clause i prefer payment in cookies, so keep that in mind. what fun it is to drive a 6 cylinder sleigh
Happy new year to you Beatrice and your hubby, wishing you the best. Love the post. hugs to you,Diana
Just be safe. Too late to warn you about spoiling anyone. I can't believe she is ready for a tryke!
Hope you are having fun.
I bet that Santa's sled isn't even close to being as comfortable as that Jeep :-)
have a great day!
Christer.
Love all those gifts, especially the pink and purple tricycle!
Oh, it's fun being Santa! I think payment might be in the form of hugs and kisses from the joyful children on the receiving end of these gifts. : )
