First, there's nothing funny about the snow from last weekend's snowstorm, which will be around for quite a while. Nashua, NH, received about 20 inches total.
There's so much remaining in downtown Nashua that these sidewalk snow banks will most likely be carted away over the weekend. In the past, the city has done the same trucking the snow to fields of a nearby park These images were taken yesterday when I walked to the library. Most city sidewalks had a packed snow cover. Snow clearing began at the mill apartments on Tuesday morning after the storm. This is the parking lot in the front of the building. The reason for no cars is that residents had to move them by 8 am for snow plowing. Most times, my photos show of the back of the mill buildings as that's our view with of the Nashua River and downtown. These snow piles were in the parking lot of a shopping plaza which houses a supermarket, gym, restaurants and a few retail stores. The parking areas were completely clear of snow on Wednesday.
Brrr it's really cold outside. Temperatures this week have remained frigid in the single digits overnight and barely getting 20 degrees during daytime hours. The snow will not be melting a lot until possibly next week when temps are predicted to be in the mid 30s.
Enough. That's it for snow photos until the next storm, which hopefully won't be too soon.

We walked yesterday for the first time this week. Cold with the wind so high made it too dangerous before yesterday. Stay cozy!

Oh my, you sure have a lot of snow already...and maybe more this weekend. We're snow-free until tomorrow though cold! Hope the electricity keeps connected.
The pike are crazy everywhere and city streets are so narrow. I'm glad this next storm (and keeping my fingers crossed) heads out to sea like they are saying. We don't need another huge dumping. Stay warm today.

We received the same amount of snow, but unfortunately, it has continued to snow everyday since. Our roads and parking areas are still snow covered. I'm impressed that they truck away the snow! That is not something that happens here.
Those icicles are dangerous weapons! That is so much snow. Here, we got mostly ice. Some places have 6 inches of ice, and we have not been able to get out.
Goodness! That is too much snow!

Down here in the South we had it as an ice storm. Ice coated trees and everything. Caused many power outages (for us just 4 hours of misery). That snow in your photos looks good. Too bad it came in such a quantity. Hope the next one this weekend will be less troublesome.
That is definitely a LOT of snow!! Wow! I think you will be watching that melt for a long time, provided you don't get more in this next storm this weekend.
