Snowy Monday

This morning, we awoke to winter wonderland in Nashua, NH, as did folks in many parts of the U.S. and Canada. These snow scenes were taken early this morning from our mill apartment window.
There was about a 3 to 4 inch snowfall both days of the past weekend.
Currently, light snow is falling once again; however, it's expected to end within the next hour.
Meanwhile, it's creating some beautiful snow scapes along the Nashua River. We're going on an outdoor walk to enjoy and capture more of this winter beauty.
This lone kayaker was on the river yesterday afternoon during a break in the snow.

Your Turn — Did anyone else awake to a wintry wonderland, if so, where ?

It's been a very snowy winter here since early November. I'm ready for warm temps!

An idyllic scene. We got snow as well and it's at the moment-10 F/-23 C. I hope you enjoyed your walk.

No snow in Hawaii. Nice photos of your winter wonderland.

A very light snowfall in Belfast two days ago, which had all thawed 24 hours later. Snow in Belfast is unusual, we just get biting cold winds and a bit of frost.

I love the frosty look of the trees, and am happy this is not the view out my window. I have been moaning every morning about bundling up like an Eskimo to walk Beau.. 39 to 45 each morning and 4 more to go... that is way to cold.. today our high is 60, but the sun is brilliant... I seem to be much colder since I passed over the 8th decade line..

We awakened to very dense fog which cleared by mid morning. Now there is sunshine and 48F.
No snow in our neck of the woods. Its pretty but I don't want to live in it. (:0)
Stay warm and I love these photos from your window, especially the lone kayaker.
((hugs))

I'm glad you're getting some snow that you can view from above and afar.

Your views are wonderful. I think kayaking would be quite cold! We were supposed to have snow, but it failed to show.

We awakened to a very heavy frost on our very dry Still Waters Pond. I did actually see some snowflakes swirling around early this morning before daylight in the light of the porch. People to the north of us on the state line (Florida/Georgia) actually DID have some snow yesterday! Not much accumulation, but real snow. Your pictures are lovely! I really enjoyed seeing them from my computer screen here in Florida, where it is currently 46 degrees and dropping again tonight down to freezing at 30 degrees. This is our winter! It won't last long! Enjoy yours while it is so beautiful!!!

These are lovely photos. Brooklyn is freezing cold, snowy and much too icy.

It looks pretty, especially since you probably didn't have to shovel. We had 3 inches, but it was light and fluffy, and when I went outside to clean up it was't too cold either. That's my kind of shoveling. Happy new week!

It is very pretty. I bet the kayaker was cold. No chance of us waking to snow since we live in the sub tropics in the southern hemisphere. We wake to storms and floods or bushfires.

I feel cold just looking at your photographs! Stay warm x

We're in the frigid zone here, too, with some (not lots) of snow. Be careful out there!

We have had an exceptionally snowy winter. I don’t think I have shovelled so much and so often in many a year. I am ready for a break, but an overnight dump is out there waiting for me. Ah well……

You captured great shots of the trees. Ours are like that this morning.

We keep getting "warnings" about snow storms, but they haven't materialized for the past couple of days. We'll see what happens tonight. Your images are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

To sorta answer your question ... over Christmas Staycation we got at least 4 foot of snow however, it was lovely. We didn't have to leave and got to enjoy our snow days. So that was fun.

Dear Dorothy 🥰
These are gorgeous photos of your snowy Monday 👍
We are watching in news from yesterday that different higher places of our country are having lots of snow including Quetta which is a capital city of Balochiistan province and around 400 km away . Snowfall in Quetta brings true cold weather in our small city so we are having very cool weather here since few days.temperature is dropping to 5to 5 C at night below 20 during daytime.
These are rare luxury and we are enjoying the weather thoroughly 🤗♥️
