Friday Funnies

After yesterday's very serious post, a little levity is needed, so here's one.

Prices are going up it's true — but nothing like this one — such a deal -7399% off.
Notice the sale price here was way higher than the original, thanks to a misplaced period.
This very obvious error was spotted on a national news site this week. I wonder how long it took for the typo to be noticed?
Here's the actual discounted price, which all would prefer, even if the savings are much less.

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
No special plans for us, temps have cooled down with 🌨 on Sunday

I'm with you wondering how long it took them to fix that mistake. I bet they didn't sell many before they did.

That’s crazy! Nobody proofreads these days.

If I saw this on Amazon I would probably not even notice the error. someone would have to point it out.. I don't shop sales, I shop for what I need and just type it in and pick the cheapest one most of the time.. without reading things like this.. Amazon and others have gotten to big for their britches trying to do everything, I am sure there are many more errors

Yikes, that is a funny one. WHY do these people not have spell checkers, whether human or technical!

Good thing you explained this one as it wasn't obvious to me.

Sometimes decimal points are misplaced to attract attention. Like misspelled notices.

Hmmm. I can do without such heavy shoes in Hawaii.

Beautiful boots, but, I'm afraid, not suitable for my feet at any price.

Think of the extra quality at the sale price.

Hi Beatrice, When I was working in retail, every so often someone would fail to proofread an ad and the items would fly off the shelves for a day or so until pricing could be corrected. Panic was the name of the game when it was a major promotional item. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Happy Tuesday, Dorothy!

I wonder if any sales actually went through at that price! That would be pretty strange! Yes, it pays to read everything very carefully online! No one is perfect...not even Amazon! LOL.
