It's easy to have fun with photos. Sometimes, even the simplest ones can lead to some amusing thoughts for an appropriate caption.
Here's a few recent ones along with my thoughts for a caption. As always, feel free to add your own ideas in the comments. You may have some even funnier and clever ones!

Drive-in |
The Route 66 Restaurant has become famously recognizable by a taxi protruding from the front of the building. It's not located in CA, but on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor, ME. |
Scooped |
While I can't recall the exact location where this photo was taken, it may have been in an antiques or collectibles store or possibly a flea market as I frequent all of these. |
Mugged |
This collection of mugs from various U.S. states was seen in a collectibles store in NH, not sure of the exact location. |
In the Bag |
This collection of bags was in a Nashua, NH, storefront a few months ago and interestingly enough it wasn't a luggage store, but a print shop preparing for a charity event. |
Duck in |
This female Mallard perhaps doesn't know that duck in a supermarket is usually found inside a shopping cart, not sitting on top. This image was taken from the bank of the Nashua River where the duck belongs and the cart does not. |
Big Wheel |
The term big wheel is usually applied to a person with a great deal of power or influence, such as a high-ranking person or official. However, this image taken at a NH flea market, shows a true big wheel — two of them.

Tanked |
My first thought for a caption was over a barrel or even rolling along. The photo was taken on a highway and while I can't recall the location, it's a sight that could be seen on any road.We didn't see any tulip farms on our recent road trip to Canada. But a couple weeks before we left, two large planters at Nashua City Hall displayed these colorful blooms.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
No definite weekend plans it depends on the weather forecast

That's a fun variety. Oddly enough, I just posted about fun with photos but in a very different way.
That restaurant on Cottage St. kind of makes me sad because it is so not Bar Harbor. I had a college friend who lived on that road and it was so quaint before when I would go visit her. I love the other photos though. Those are a cool collection of scoops. hugs-Erika
All the photos are really great photos! I love the taxi on the roof and my favorite is the duck and the upside down basket. All of your captions are right on the mark
Great way to start my day...these are all upbeat. Thanks.
...I love your short captions, they are right up my alley.
All of the captions are clever - - I can't think of anything better. Drive-In is my favorite. Those colorful tulips are a gorgeous breath of spring......almost summer!
I can't improve your witty captions!
I couldn't do better on your captions if I tried!
Those tulips are simply gorgeous. They remind me of the Miracle Mile in downtown Chicago. Blocks and blocks of tulips. That was years ago..I wonder if they still do that.
Love the other captions for today..
Couldn't get any better.

For the first picture I immediately thought That's what I get for following GPS.
Nice chuckles and gorgeous tulips! :)
I love these! My favorite is the duck in the shopping cart. She has a ready-made nest!
The tulips are the best!
Great photos . Fun idea.
Some unusual finds! I like the ice cream scoops. I wonder which works best?

The photos are interesting and the captions are amusing. I like the tulips as I can imagine the planters where the bulbs were planted last year ready to bring colour to your town/city.
Your Friday funnies gave me a nice Sunday smile!! And the tulips are stunning! (I love seeing virtual spring flowers especially because that's the only way I'll see them this year.)
Wow! A good reminder to always stop if you see something intriguing. I went into a rather small medical museum in Oregon on a road trip, and it was amazingly interesting.
