Friday Funnies

This lineup spotted recently in a downtown Nashua, NH, parking lot gave another meaning to a well-used term, Waiting for a Pickup.
If you can think of any other ones, feel free to add yours in the comments, as always.

In answer to a blogger's question, I don't know WHY there were so many pickups in a row.
No special event was happening, so perhaps just coincidence or a parking pattern?

Enjoy the U.S. Memorial Day Weekend
There's a farmer's market opening & parade here

Name or not, the sight of those cars is rather funny!

that is the perfect title for this and I LOVE IT!!! we talk often about the number of pickups now. and the rest are SUV of all sizes, not a huge percentage of cars.the only thing I can think of is
line up for pickup. or Pickup Line Here

That is funny! Amazing they were all pick up trucks lined up! Doesn't anyone drive cars up there? LOL. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Great line..our car seems small when we are in a parking lot.
All the pickups and SUVs hide us and it is hard to back out a lot of the time.
Enjoy your weekend and the farmers market. I'm on caregiving duty today and another Sunday. Happy I do get a stipend for my time and hope the weather will cooperate so we can be outside in the backyard some. It does break the day up.

Beatrice, We live in East Tennessee and pick up trucks are really 'in' even for transplanted northerners. Most of us older folks drive middle range SUVs as they're easier to get in and out of. I love coincidences as shown in your photo! Always good for a chuckle. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

I haven't seen that many pickups since I lived in Texas.......but I'm wondering - - is that a chimney on the building in the distance??

Jon, I am not exactly sure what the cylindrical looking tower is part of, but if and when I find out will update the post.

Perhaps they were just parked there while they went for a pick-me-up?

This made me smile. Eight identical trucks in a row.

Obviously they were waiting to be picked up! :)

What I should have said is...perhaps they were waiting to be picked up after being dropped off!

Enjoy the Memorial Weekend..take good care.

I guess Pick Ups are popular there. Did you know we don't call them that. IN Oz they are called 'Utes' short for utility truck.
