It's that time of year, again, 🎂birthday time for our two great nieces. Both of whom turned two years old within two weeks of each other last month. Autumn Rose (L) is the older of the two toddlers, her cousin Savannah Marie (R) is just slightly younger. These photos were provided by their moms and taken at their respective celebrations.
Last year their first birthdays were a joint celebration held in NJ, but since then Savannah and her parents, Jamie and Mike, have relocated from NJ to FL. Autumn and her parents are still in NJ. Unfortunately, their ground floor apt was flooded out during Hurricane Ida in Sept and are looking for a new home. The NJ housing market, as in many states, is very tight now. Since her family's move, Savannah has been joined by a sibling. This photos show the newest family member, great nephew, Nicholas James, who is just shy of 8 months old now.

Beautiful young children, facing an uncertain world. I hope we can start to remediate the damage we have done and leave them something to work with. I wish them a bright and wonderful future.
A happy birthday to these sweet ones. My son and his wife have tried to buy a house for a year now, with no luck. It’s crazy!

i remember when they were born 2 weeks apart, a quick 2 years. wow have they grown into little girls instead of babies. and now there are three. they are all adorable, sorry about the flooding

Those babies are 2! Time just goes by way too fast. How terrible to have a home flooded. The housing market is better, sorta, but still challenging. Really hope they can soon find something.
