Can you hear me now?
Grenville had some fun with this vintage piece at a recent ham radio flea market. (It didn't have anything to do with ham radio, but was a unique find for a photo opp.)
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
We're in PA to see family, friends & a hot air balloon festival.
Hope you have some fun in your plans too.

Have a wonderful time in PA! I wonder how close you’ll be to me?
Not sure exactly where you live, Bijoux, but we will be in the Lancaster, PA area.
There was a large horn like this one on our victrola when I was a kid. Have a fun time, hugs, Edna B.
I can't tell you how many times in my life I have said breaker 1-9 anyone out there? I laughed at the can you hear me now. It's important that these Ham radios be kept alive and working because if anything ever happens to the internet Heaven Help Us we're going to need these radios and people who know how to use them
I don't know a thing about ham radios, but it looks like you could signal Mars with that contraption.
My brother's been selling some of his old radio and CB gear recently, some of it completely obsolete, but has had no trouble shifting it.
Good picture of Grenville! I've noticed he's quite photogenic, and looks good in all the displayed pictures.
Good shot!
LOL!
Have a great weekend! :)
Smile!Fun photo Dorothy.
Love that photo! My dad was a ham. He loved those markets!
That's interesting you never what you are going to find.
Have fun with family and friends!
You are always doing something exciting. Enjoy!
Nifty photo. Thanks for the Saturday morning smile. :)
haha
that is so funny indeed
best wishes for your weekend dear Dorothy !
All he needs is a black circle around one eye. Then he would look like the cute little dog on the old RCA Victor ads.
Enjoy your weekend, Beatrice...not that you need any encouragement, I'm sure!! :)
Take care...have fun. :)
"This is Mission Control to Grenville. You are due back on the spaceship in ten minutes. Please make your purchases and return to the Trans-cosmic Voyager."
Cute photo! Great that you are with family right now. Looking forward to your post about the trip.
I don't know a thing about ham radio, but I hope it is being kept a live and well. That is a funny photo of your hubs.
Haha -- so funny -- but seriously, is "Grenville" a ham operator?
Love the photograph.
Have a fun time.
All the best Jan
Haha! Love the photo!
Have fun, Beatrice!
Funny photo, I love it!
I'm looking forward to hearing more about that hot air balloon festival!
Beatrice, Grenville's pose reminds me of both my and my wife's selective hearing issue. I just don't hear things I don't want to hear...and the same is true for her when it comes to me. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

OMG Patrick really made me giggle. Thanks for that Dorothy, and thanks for your sweet comment on my blog AND the lovely email. It really means a lot to feel that love and support from my friends. ♥♥♥
I at first thought it was a Dish then realized it was a speaker. It is a great pose and great photo.
