Friday Funnies

Thanks to everyone who commented on the previous post that told the backstory of how we, Dorothy (aka Beatrice) and Patrick (aka Grenville), met and wed. All comments were read. We appreciated both the well wishes and shared romance stories.

Our anniversary adventure was a mini getaway in NH and VT (details later) and home before Hurricane Henri was due to impact New England. There was no reported damage in Nashua, NH. However, the flooding and loss of life in TN was heartbreaking to see. If anyone you know,  family, friends or bloggers live in affected areas, we hope they are safe.

Speaking of travel, other folks have been doing so as well and left stickers this VT utility box.
This motorist posted travel stickers directly on the vehicle; do you? (we do not)
A previous post noted that two blogger friends are facing tough medical diagnosisIf you missed that post, take time to visit: Rita's blog is SoulComfort's Corner and Mildred's is Laurel Wood (wish her a Happy 🎂 Birthday today).

Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone.
Nashua, NH, will be warm & humid followed by more rain

We don't put stickers on our car but I do sometimes purchase a magnet. You may have noticed those on my washer when you were here.
Went to Million Dollar Quartet last night - thunder and lightning shortened the show but no rain! I have to call for replacement tickets later today. The first half was good. So sorry your performance was rained out.

I don't put stickers on my car either. I'm glad Henri did not cause any damage in your area. It is still hot here too. I hope this doesn't mean that we're going to have a super cold winter. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

We do not use the stickers on our cars either and Bob threatened the man with not buying the Corvette when we bought it many years ago if there was any kind of advertisement on that he would not buy it when they was when we went to pick it up

Travel stickers seemed to be quite popular when I was a child, but I seldom see any nowadays.
The flooding here in TN was horrible. Fortunately there was no flooding in my area. I live high on a hill at the edge of a forest.

Travel stickers are fun. Maybe a scrapbook would be more to my liking. Best wishes to Rita and Mildred.

We don't do stickers, but I did collect a few pennants when I was a kid. They're long gone, of course.

I am so happy that Henri did not affect you too badly. And, I just have to mention that your wedding memories were just so sweet. Happy belated anniversary.

No, we don’t do stickers, but I think it’s fun trying to figure out what the letters stand for.

That's a lot of stickers.

Stickers have become some sort of a trend. I see them on laptops, on windows, On water bottles, on notebooks. Amazon sells packs of them. Well, no harm done by them.

No stickers on our car either. Hope you had a fun get away.

We don't buy stickers but so many people obtain them and mostly put on their caravan rather than their vehicles. Sometime you will see an odd one or two.

I'm the kind of person who has to carefully peel off the stickers from anything I buy so not much chance of me buying these.

Never did any kind of stickers on cars.
Thanks For the kindness. :)

I see that car climbed Mount Washington. That must be quite a spectacular drive. Mount Snowdon in Wales has a railway to the summit, which is also spectacular. And if you're hungry at the end of the ride, there's a café at the summit as well.

I don't post stickers/magnets on my car. I usually get free magnets from the college, but I give those away. :)

i don't like stickers at all not on car nor motorbike .we don't have car right now as keeping it needs lots of attention which hubby finds hard so our small city has everything on little distance which makes it a big okay for us

I'm glad you had a good trip and missed the worst of the storms up there! So scary, I join you in hoping everyone is safe. We don't put stickers or anything at all on our car. Ever. It's funny when you see those posts or cars or whatever with so many stickers on them... my mother used to say about overdone stuff like that "it's too much of a muchness" -- and she was right !
