It's definitely a compact model and I wondered . . .
Is this the size of car best suited for (very) short trips around town?

Thank for all your comments on my previous post about how we were able to register and then receive a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in Nashua, NH. We have heard from others living here who have also successfully registered.
It was quite disheartening to learn about the availability or not, and the lack of communication in so many states. Also, the fact that some folks have registered at multiple sites without any confirmation, and that others have no information on where or how to register. Folks in Canada seem to have little information to date, while folks in the UK reported more that they will receive a call or mailed notification when eligible.
While I've read online news stories of how well or not vaccine distribution has or hasn't been going, your comments presented a better perspective on the difficulties within this process, both within the U.S. and in other countries. When we complete the process next month (first phase), I'll post on how the process went for us.
It snowed late Tuesday and by Wednesday a.m., there was a 3-4 inch snowfall left behind. And, it didn't escape me that the blue colors of the little car and the snow scenes were very similar.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone.
More snow is forecast for next week.

I’ve seen those little cars. I also saw on the news last night that WV is the state that’s on the ball as far as giving the vaccine.
I like your bird's eye view of the snow scenes.
I am not sure i could get in or out of that car but if I could and did, it would have to be a realllly short drive.. it is cute though. i would have taken the photo also. we keep hoping down here in FL, so far so bad is our news
Gorgeous winter photos.
It's beautiful in your world. I saw wee cars like that all over England and France and wondered just where people put their legs!
The sprinkling of snow has given it a Winter wonderland makeover, it looks beautiful. I must admit I have come across those little cars before, designed for easy parking in the City.
Wonderful photos. We have a great sign up system but not vaccine to match the numbers.
Smart cars are very popular in London, as parking is always an issue and they take up very little room. :)
Nice winter scenes. That car would be uncomfortable to drive and if you got in to an accident, I can't image what shape you would be in.
Cute little car! I believe they are called : subcompact cars. They are easy to drive, park, and fuel efficient. Affordability is the name of the game. It's cheap to buy, to ensure, to repair.
Beatrice, Those little cars resemble bugs and bugs can be squashed by larger critters. I wouldn't feel safe in something that small. Only 1 snowfall with accumulation here in East Tennessee so far this winter and that was before Christmas. Stay Safe and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I'm pretty sure my long legs would not be comfortable in that tiny car.
Beautiful photos Beatrice. My car is small but I wouldn't want one that small!
I haven't signed up yet. Got a notice from my clinic i ND that it could be months. Decided to wait and ask my doctor when I see her next time in February (if I'm brave enough and don't change the non-essential appointment). If things seem like they are speeding up I'll try to figure out the online sign up. Yes, keep us informed.
Those little cars scare me yikes!
I got my first shot here in NH It was very easy. I was given a date and time. I showed up at the armory on time I was greeted and showed my license, drove around the building they checked my name off and showed me to a parking space where a military nurse met me gave me the shot.( Which I did not feel)I sat and waited for 15 minutes and another person came by and said I was good to go. I was instructed to honk the horn if I was feeling anything different.
Easy peasy! I had no side effects either. I am blessed that I have my second appointment.

When I was looking for a car, initially I wanted a Smart. Finally I bought the smallest Mazda model available back then. I've always like very small cars. :)
Back in the 60s Fiat motor company made a small, compact car similar to this. I managed to have a ride in one...once. A young bank teller new to town owned it. A fun little care. :)
The vaccination process seems to be in a shambles. In my province plans have not been made for doing the vaccinating.
What lovely images of snow. We had snow a couple of days ago, but it only lasts a day here. And, I expect to see Mr. Bean step out of that little blue car. ;)
Gorgeous views of your snow fall. We seem lucky on our small island that vaccination is racing through. We sign up on a website once our age group is applicable. They are about to start the seventy plusses in two weeks so we probably have about a month more to wait. B x
Be interesting to know how you got on with your first Covid inection. Good luck with it.
Snow looks good and that care is just the sweetest.
A work colleague of mine had one of those little cars and she loved it - especially when she worked out how cheap it was to run.
On a visit to England a couple of years ago, a birder I stayed with had two Smart cars, one for him and one for his wife and loved them. They were extremely economical and perfect for going out birding when he was mostly alone. He never had trouble finding a spot to park. Our attitude towards cars has already changed over the years and will continue to do so, I believe. I remember back in the fifties and sixties when we all drove vehicles the size of small barges!
My daughter and her hubby both have one of those little cars. The savings on gas alone is a boon. You have to be very careful in snowy and icy weather though. We got several inches of snow too. Now I'm ready for the warmer parts of Spring. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Beautiful snowy photos. Ours is due to arrive around 3.00 a.m. I am very interested in how your covid vaccination will go. Still waiting to hear.
I wouldn't feel safe in such a tiny car, I need a BOAT of a car to drive lol...the Covid vaccinations here are pretty much up in the air. I read that here in New Brunswick, we MAY get them in the summer or fall. Until then, I'm staying home and when I have to go out, I wear a mask and surgical gloves!
Your snow pictures are very pretty! We got nothing on Monday, not a thing that was predicted. Tomorrow we could get up to a foot...that is, starting Sunday and ending Tuesday. My goodness! We will see ☺ Stay warm and safe! (Christy got us a few more lists so who will contact us first?? And when, sigh)
If I had to get in one of those toy cars, I might never be able to get out again! But I suppose they would be easy to park. Parking spots in the UK are not very generous in size....
That is one seriously small car.
I'm not sure I'd feel safe in that thing in a world seemingly full of SUVs.
Love the snow photos. The snow is coming down in NYC now and we're supposed to get buried.
I've always lived in a rural setting with long journeys being my principal motoring so I've always had large cars in the UK (In New Zealand I had a Mazda MX5) but if I lived in a town and wasn't doing long journeys I'd want something like that.
So far as I can tell the rollout of the vaccine in the UK has been excellent and very efficient.
It's a smart car, very economical which is something we need rather than gas guzzlers
i have heard about small car in neighboring country long ago which bears single passenger and is really cheap ,that one might look similar to one you shared apart of quality though smaller than this one i think
i love your river images thoroughly always though snow gives me shiver lol
wishing you all the grace of lord and glory of days ahead my friend!
