Today would have been my late mother's birthday. She always enjoyed a celebration with cake and candles and a cup of coffee too.
My mother's name was Clara; coincidentally she was born in the 9th month on the 9th day. She was a very attractive young woman and bride (but then I am prejudiced just a bit).
She celebrated her 80th and 90th decades in these photos. I hope that to age as well as she did. The photo on the right was taken at her 90th year celebration.
