Unexpected Nice Surprise
Perhaps it's happened to you as well — you receive an unexpected gift.
On the weekend, Grenville (Pat) helped fellow apartment residents whose car had a dead battery. Yesterday morning we had a surprise visit from them; they brought wine and a very nice card.
Not only was their visit unexpected, but we will be thankful again when we enjoy the wine with dinner this week.

The art of saying "Thank you" is disappearing. It is nice to know your neighbors took the time and in such a thoughtful way.

We so appreciate being appreciated.
My neighbor cleared my sidewalk with his snowblower. I put some things in a bag and hung them on the door knob afterward. He said later don't need to do that. I said that it isn't payback, but just some great feeling of appreciation.
What a nice thing to show how much they appreciated what he did. This is something that isn't done much today. Bless them and Grenville too for being a nice guy. Hugs, LJ
