This photo was taken a few days after Christmas at an area mall. We were back last week and, of course, everything is long-gone. But if you're wondering how many days until the 2016 holiday season, here's a countdown.
A winter storm is predicted for the east coast this weekend. Many states are expected to be hard hit, including our home state of NJ and where we formerly lived in VA. Oddly enough, forecasters are not predicting much snow (if any) to affect Nashua, NH. While we'd like some snow, we recognize that it can create havoc and danger for many others. We hope that fellow bloggers and others will be safe. (And, if anyone wants to send some snow, that's OK with us and lots of skiers too we're sure.)
Enjoy your weekend, Everyone.

The moment the CHristmas decorations were cleared, the Valentines ones went up. But not like Christmas is scope for sure.
Stay warm and safe.
They were cleared out here generally a week after New Year's.
The storm's not supposed to come up this way- we're not expecting snow until Monday.
Stay safe and warm. They tell me spring is around the corner. The problem is that it is a very long block.
Sounds like the snow and storm are going to skirt around under us and hit farther east. I am quite happy about that. Hope everyone in its path stays safe.
I am hearing horror stories about the storm already. Stay safe.
I too hope everyone in the snowstorms path stays safe. On my don't wish for more snow, lol.... As long as it is cold enough for the ski areas to make snow than they are happy and I sure am happy. I could carpet my house with the money I have paid out the last few years to have my roof shoveled and some needed repairs to boot...This is a blessing!!! Hugs, LJ
Keep warm and safe.
My sister, who lives in the Shenandoah Valley, has two feet of snow this morning. Odd that NH wouldn't get that, too?
My kids who live near Albany, NY experienced the same thing as you ... the storm seemed to skip them. Glad for both of you.
