OK, I bee-lieve it’s time to bee-have and put this this topic to sleep (at least for now) . . .anyone have some tiny sheets and pillows for these guys?
Coming up, more insects from the Frog & PenguINN wildflower gardens, including a “killer” bug that sucks the life out of its prey. Sounds gross, but nearly everything is “take-out” in a yard.

The backyard could provide the plot for many, many horror films.....
both of these photos are realy beautiful shots. the first one does look so cozy and sleepy. the one on the blue is really pretty
Really neat pictures, Beatrice. Almost makes you want to sing them a lullabye (or is that a lulla-bee?). :)
Cornflowers are getting really rare over here now days. When I moved here the field outside my cottage was filled wit red poppies and blue cornflowers. Now days I barley se any of them.
Have a great day!
Christer.
Thanks for the comments, Elaine, Sandra & Daisy (liked your pun too). Christer, we have a LOT of cornflowers which seem to be reseeding themselves in the wildflower gardens. I trimmed some today and threw them into the gardens for mulch so we may get even more next season. But, we've never had any poppies.
