Friday Funnies is back after a holiday hiatus. This week's post is a return to some of the vanity license plates seen in and around Nashua, NH, in recent months. Their popularity seems to be increasing as motorists display some interesting choices.
And, so do the M's in these platesMaybe these are favorite animals?
Are these the occupations or interest of these motorists?
These two are very far apart in the sentiments shown.
While getting a vanity plate is not in my plans for this year (or ever), some of these plates have been very amusing, while others just confusing to decipher. This year will, most likely, bring more examples of both.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
It's un-decorating time for us, maybe for you as well?

I have better uses for my money.
You can always tell who you've seen before if they have a vanity plate. And they are fun to read. I hope your new year has started off well and it will be a good one Dorothy. hugs-Erika
that was fun-these plates can be expensive too-in Missouri they are happy friday-is it really friday already>
...Dorothy, I have a fascination for vanity places and you have a fabulous collection here. I see a trip to NH in the future.
I am cheap to the bone, so will not have one but I do like to read them. some I have no clue and still have seen none here. of course they would have to drive through my house. ha ha... I am driving, so don't notice tags. if I were riding they might be here
I do like that last frame! They're always fun to read!
Thanks again for a Friday chuckle...though some leave me wondering.
Most vanity plates escape me, including some of these! I've always thought it's too easy for police cruisers to recognize you again if you're a bit of a speeder. Full disclosure: I've been one in my life.
Quite a collection of plates. Did you say you saw these all in Nashua?
I figured out most of them!
The correctness governesses in our licence bureau here in Ontario would not allow any of those, I think. But they are fun.
They are an unnecessary cost for my way of thinking. I sincerely enjoy reading them though.
Gosh, it looks like you have more then we do here! The wildflower one is lovely, my favorite. Next favorite is 2close.
Yes, and I dread the work of taking everything down. I hope you have a wonderful new year. I often have trouble deciphering the plates.
Couldn't figure out the one you asked about or the A+A+C+D, either. I do like that wildflower one the best. Vanity plates are so expensive that it is surprising there are so many there. Don't see them often here, but it is always fun when we do...even if we can't figure them out--lol!
What a wonderful idea to post the plates. I love the one "Wildflwr." This inspires me to take notice of the plates. Enjoyed this posting very much. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
I've often wondered why somebody gets a vanity plate that makes no sense to anyone.
Hi Beatrice, Love the collection of New Hampshire license plates, especially the last one with the appropriate plate holder. I'm too cheap to pay the extra annual fee for a specialty plate but we both like looking for the strange ones others have. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I guess I'm with everybody else about the cost for the plates, but they are fun to try to figure out. Some sure don't make any sense but I'm always up for the challenge.
Happy Undecorating and Happy New Year.
Sue
This is a great collection Beatrice. Some plates are really clever, I like the name ones, a friend of mine has one with her name BEV which is nice. But some I just don't get.
Many thanks for sharing these ...
Happy weekend wishes.
All the best Jan
Hahahahahaha! Some interesting , fun number plates there.
All the very best to you and your loved ones for 2025, Beatrice. Take very good care, one and all. :)
Cute and clever plates. Especially like MORBID.
