Dogs in cars are so funny. Neither of mine are hang their heads out of the window dogs, but Maddie much prefers the front passenger seat and it pains her to have to sit in the back when there are 2 people in the car. Grin. In that scenario she often chooses to rest the front of her body on the center console. She likes to watch the road ahead. Pete prefers to lay down in the back so no one knows he's there. In fact, he's the easiest car riding dog I've ever been with. It's easy to forget he's in the car with you. Thanks for the smile. hugs-Erika
we often wonder what our beau looks like while we are riding with his head out the rear window. he rests his head on the glass, since I put it up about 6 inches for fear he might jump out
Sweet photos of the dogs! Most definitely a happy place for them. They don't want you blowing on their face but they sure do love feeling the wind on their faces while sticking their heads out the window! It's a conundrum, lol!
Happy Doggies. And congratulations on your date-a-versary. What a fun thing to celebrate! I guess we never even thought about doing that, but it sounds like a great idea to me! Enjoy your time away. It should be beautiful there!
Hi Beatrice, Congratulations on the big anniversary. Fortunately for me, our first date is easy to remember as we were married exactly one year later. Love Bar Harbor. It's where we bought our first piece of cloisonné as well as the location where my wife turned green when out fishing in rough waters. Up until then, I thought that 'turning green' was an old wives tale. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

The way that some people drive they really should let the dogs take the wheel!
...did they have their seatbelts on?
There is something about big, shaggy dogs over your way.

I do enjoy seeing dogs acting like people in cars. Have a great time celebrating.
Have you seen the Far Side, gary larsen, cartoon of all the dogs driving in the city, heads out of the driver's window?
I sometimes see dogs with more of their body outside the car than inside, and wonder what their owners were thinking.

Happy Anniversary! Aloha from Hawaii.
Where'd I go? I posted and I'm sure I saw it land. Now gone, dang.
I happened to see many times dogs looking through the car window. That's always funny!

Happy Anniversary! Dogs must be great passengers. At least they can't demand an ice cream or keep asking "Are we there yet?"
Dog is my copilot!
I like both of these photographs.
Happy 27th anniversary of your 1st date wishes :)
All the best Jan
I love having chats with the dogs sitting in cars in the car park at my local supermarket. Some respond, and some politely ignore me!:)
Sweet!
