It's here, the first Friday Funny to start a new month.
To me, this looked like the perfect chill-out couch . . .
This was spotted on roadside near Nashua, NH, after a recent snowfall. A line of traffic behind our car didn't allow time to pull over for a photo of the full couch. It was still in the same spot we had seen it a couple of weeks earlier, when it wasn't filled with snow. (Yes, it's unfortunate that a better use couldn't be found for it then as a roadside discard.)
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone
We're heading home after a short NH getaway (details later)

There are some politicians who should sit there and chill out.
Time for the city to take it to the dump, snow and all.
We have two similar sofas sitting on the curb where Bo and I take our morning walk and they’ve been there for three weeks but they have no snow
That's a shame. Too bad they couldn't have donated it someplace.
That is funny! Someone could build a snowman sitting there.
I agree with Anvilcloud's comment. The perfect couch for some politicians to sit and chill out.
Wondering how long it will be there.
As always, thanks for a Friday chuckle. Goodness, all those couches sitting by the road. Perhaps they awaken in the night and dance together or something!
A nice place to have a snowy nap.
Definitely "CHILL"
Great capture and enjoy your get away..we all need those every once in a while..

It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
Upholstered furniture at the side of the road never seems to get taken. Someone needs to take a dump run to get rid of this one.
Surprising it isn't isn't gone for the metal and wood frame.
Neat photo
Snow couch!
Cozy and cold counch. I like it.
I always wonder why people leave furniture out after weather like this (in your photo). Who would want a soggy couch? But it certainly is a good place to "chill". Stay safe in the snow Dorothy. hugs-Erika
After you!
Hilarious! Thanks for the chuckle and have a great weekend.
You spot some interesting items for Friday Funnies blog post! :)
Great pun! We're chilling out here, too!
haha even i am little unwell right now dear Dorothy your name given to bench made me chuckle :) Perfect !
i wonder if someone is interested to have seat
excellent finding for Friday funny :)
looking forward for the details of your latest trip :)
hugs and blessings .
oh yes you mentioned that you will never be visiting Bali in person is because of the long distance right ? or because of weather probably just curious
It was foolish to leave the sofa there in the midst of winter. The cover of snow is amusing to look at, but the sofa is irretrievably ruined.
If the owner of the couch hoped that someone without a couch would be grateful for it, they must be disappointed. And now with a covering of snow it's only fit for disposal.
Beatrice, This is why we love road trips... You never know what you'll see along the way, funny, sad or just plain interesting. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Very chilly!
Love it. There are so many people who could use a chill out couch!
My goodness, you've had a lot of snow up there!
You certainly spot some different things!
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Love it!! That reminds me of an old hide-a-bed couch we had years ago! I wonder if it could have made it to NH? I'm thinking we left it at a former parsonage somewhere in Florida, but who knows? Those things do travel...LOL.
Thats a funny photo but it is a shame it was left on the footpath oops sidewalk.
Hilarious! I'm sure Frosty would love it!
