Sometimes, even the vehicle doing a haul needs an unexpected haul.
This one was seen in downtown Nashua a couple of months ago.

In our household, the decorating and (limited) shopping have been done. This weekend, it's time for gift wrapping and cookie baking during a wet weekend. I've fallen somewhat behind with blog reading, but will catch up on recent posts this weekend. Hope that your holidays are moving along well and for that those of you who have not been felling well are doing better.
Enjoy Your Weekend, Everyone

Good picture! I’m surprised a regular tow truck could handle it. We are hosting the big cousin party tomorrow.
Funny photo! lol
Have a good weekend baking
Heavy snow up here in Vermont, south of Burlington, about 2 inches so far
That’s quite a haul. 😎
We are experiencing our first major storm of the season. TG, daughter made it to work along the rural highway.
I wonder if the truck was packed up too.
Are you getting snow like we are? It will be an all day event I believe.
Thanks for the head's up on the Anthony Horowitz book. I'll look for it in the new year.
Snow storms are excellent reasons to bake and wrap presents!
It will be a great day for wrapping gifts. I am so not a fan of wrapping that I must bribe myself into it—a cup of coffee or tea, a little treat, a vlog or Christmas music in the background, and nothing else to do because of bad weather. Enjoy your day and get lots accomplished.
That's a funny photo of the unexpected haul.
Enjoy your wrapping and baking weekend.
We haul U-Hauls!
Even a U-Haul needs a little help sometimes. Enjoy you weekend of baking and wrapping.
That's a funny photo. Sorry that it wasn't funny for the 2 drivers.
It's funny how the smaller, red vehicle is trying to help the big U-Haul truck! Enjoy the pre-Christmas activities of baking goodies and wrapping gifts!
Enjoy your cookie baking and gift wrapping. The wet weekend is the perfect time to do that. Warm and cozy...my favorites...
Love the U-Haul being hauled.
I am feeling better too. Didn't sleep in the recliner at all last night. Yay!!

Hahahahaha
What a hoot, well maybe not for the renter :) but a great photo for your theme. Have a splendid weekend!
The U Haul photo is so humorously ironic!
A chilly, wet December weekend is a perfect time to bake cookies - - and possibly watch some holiday movies.
I hope that UHaul wasn't loaded with someone's household when it broke down. I always feared that happening when we were making one of our many moves. Then you would have to unload the truck and put it on another truck. That would be awful! So thankful it never happened to us! I received your beautiful card today. Thank you so much. I was almost done sending cards when I ran out of cards and had to try to find some more. So much for not sending out very many...LOL. Hope you have a blessed and beautiful weekend of baking and wrapping and relaxing! Merry Christmas!
Have a good week!
Even U-Hauls can break down.
Have a great week! :)
Cute photo. Yes it is a busy and cheerful time of year. Today I am delivering a knit hat, scarf and gloves to a friend who will be 90 on Christmas day and who lives in senior housing.
Hi Beatrice, No snow here in East Tennessee as of now. We only have a 10% chance of a white Christmas around here...which is fine with us. It would be nice to have a light coating which melts in 24 hours...just for the beauty of the snow, lake, forest and mountains. No company expected for Christmas so minimal decorating this year. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave and Laurie
we ended up with about a foot of snow here in the northern part of the lakes region. All the decoration is done that is going to be done and all the baking is done. I have a few small gifts to wrap we are headed to Vermont today for a bit of an outing and done.

The photo made me laugh. It happened to me when we lived in Alaska. We were moving and when we got the truck unloaded and ready to return it, it wouldn't start. I had to call Uhaul and they came with a tow truck to take it away.
To answer your questions, the Front Porch we didn't go inside, it was closed and the Christmas trees you saw, they got sold soon after I took the photo. We no longer have a tree, we use our decorations and hang and place them around our house. It's alot easier and we love doing it. Enjoy the new week.
Funny photo, Dorothy!
Hugs and blessings 💐
I wonder if the truck was in the middle of a move and full of household possessions that ended up at the truck repairers?
