Friday Funnies (Not)
Admittedly, when I was considering a caption for this photo, Butt Out or No Buts About It came to mind. But (there it is again) there was nothing funny about this image which was captured during a recent walk.
It was bad enough to see this many smoked cigarettes and, worse yet, they were simply dumped out and not put in the trash. (There's a No Smoking ban in our mill apt complex and it's not unusual to see lots of discarded butts near the exterior entry ways.)

the bad news is, we still see Butts on the streets and parks, butt the good news is there is a lot less than their used to be. our stores all have butt holders and since there is no smoking in public places that has helped a lot... makes no sense to me they could not dump it in a retainer and not the ground.
Sad in two ways.
Nicotine is so addictive. I'm glad I never started and feel sorry for those folks who just have to have a smoke. But don't you think they could at least have cleaned up after themselves?

Ugh... to the disregard of proper disposal and to the nasty habit that caused the pile of butts in the first place =(
Goodness, that's a horrible image and not very nice for you to have to deal with the sight of them.
Smoking is a horrible habit. I wish more people would realize how bad it is.

It's a bad habit and one which I hate to see. Fortunately now there are bins to put cigarettes in.
Oh gosh that is quite disgusting. People are so disgusting at times. I've seen piles of old cigarette butts along the highways where I'm guessing the idiots just emptied their car ash trays.

Not the most pleasent of sights to see and shows someone who does not care about things. Perhaps they should just dump them in thier own house, still if they smoke that much it must be doing wonders for their lungs.

I agree. That is gross. I think it is really stupid and selfish of people to empty their ashtrays out for everyone else to see and deal with. Happy new week.
