In Nashua, there was a downtown parade on Main Street with participants representing various civic and community groups as well as ROTC members. There was also a couple of vintage vehicles.
There's always a large participation by bands from the several high schools and middle school and these youngsters were wonderful to hear.
Although not representative of World War I veterans, this group of colonial soldiers marched along the route and fired their weapons several times. The parade ended with a fleet of the city's fire trucks and emergency vehicles flashing their lights and blaring the horns.

I love the costumes and there’s nothing better than a parade, we have a ceremony in this small town at the cenotaph, a small parade but a bigger celebration is held in the arena, no costumes here, no bands, I love to hear the bands,
Loved seeing your parade. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Nice parade, perfect for the day... love the old cars and old uniforms also
Great pictures of a dignified parade!
We don't have a similar Veterans Day but a Remembrance Day for all the fallen soldiers, and its marked mainly by ceremonies carried out at the military cemeteries over the country.
Sounds like a wonderful day and a great way to remember the fallen and pay tribute to all those who have served.
Great photos, Beatrice.
Your town looks lovely. The buildings, the events you have there, all look beautiful.I enjoyed reading about them all.
I love parades. Military parades are the best.
It's the colonial era soldier uniforms that draw my eye. Terrific shots!
I always enjoy hearing the bands play.
It’s always a good thing to honor our veterans- especially on Veterans Day!
I like seeing the vintage vehicles. They had a lot of bands in the parade. Our school band is so small that they now ride on a flatbed truck and play standing or sitting, no marching. You were able to see a great parade for Veterans Day.
Looks like a great parade to honor veterans.
Seeing the marching bands reminds me that we hardly have them here. I used to see them sometimes in Sarnia (a border town) but more often than not they came from Michigan. Haven't seen one here at all (since 2005) IIRC.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i always love watching such parades :)
