Nashua Scarecrow Contest is Here

It's that time of year again — Fall is here and the 4th Annual Downtown Nashua (NH) Scarecrow Competition has arrived. Our apartment building, Clocktower Place, has an entry that Grenville and myself helped assemble. It depicts a mill girl who was named Elizabeth by a scarecrow committee member. (Clocktower Place is a former textile mill which manufactured flannel blankets, mainly by women known as "mill girls.")
This is just a fun fall event to decorate downtown Nashua. There are no prizes awarded, just bragging rights. This is an open competition and we could use your help in getting votes for Elizabeth. This year's there are 25 entries and Elizabeth is on the 2nd page.

Everyone can vote once a day until Oct. 13.

Here’s a link that takes you to the voting page to vote for Clocktower Place Scarecrow.

Elizabeth and the scarecrow committee thank you (in advance) for your votes. We'll be sure to update you on the final results.
